Fantastic grass roots venue in the heart of Liverpool, 5 mins walk from Lime Street. Was there Seeing Pales Strangers return gig with Van Royal and MRI in support.

Craft beers, and also a gluten free craft beer is available which is great.
Great venue for bands, lovely staff, didn't eat this time but the pizzas looked immense so will be trying soon. Nice little beer selection too 👍
I seen Live Like Wolves first gig here. The place is wee and intimate but it's great for bands to start.
There is plenty different beers and ciders available, we never had food but will try a pizza the next time I visit.
Intimate bar setting with a cool retro geek aesthetic, a varying and constantly updating selection of drinks and awesome vegan/vegetarian pizzas. Add in the even more awesome staff and it's easily one of my favourite places to hang out in Liverpool.
Absolutely brilliant live venue this. Range of drinks at the bar was excellent and not too overly priced considering the location. FB page liked now so can keep up to speed with what's happening. Will be back for sure 🤘
Punk rock, beer, pizza, good location, toilet wall gossip columns, friendly staff, grumpy soundman, terry foster. Recommended.
Great selection of beers, amazing pizza and an excellent variety of live gigs on every week.
Been to dozens of gigs there but sadly due to the annoying smoke effects, I always come away with a terrible chesty cough and it aggravates my asthma no end. There is little to no ventilation (that I can see) so why smoke is always being pumped in I have no idea. Bit of a shame but it's not worth the days of coughing after.

The most unbelievable pizza and the salt and pepper dough balls are the best in Liverpool by far if you come to Liverpool you have to come here great atmosphere and amazing food beer and service 🍻🍻🍻🍻
We came here for our friends birthday. It was extremely busy as she didn't think that everyone she had invited would turn up. It's very nice and I can highly recommend there massive pizzas. We had a vegetarian one.
Magnificent venue - doesn't need aircon as only the coolest people go there. Also craft ales and pizza to die for.
Always a decent night out. Bring earplugs if you're going to a gig. 😀
A lot has been written already about the quality of the beer, pizzas and the attractiveness (some moderately more attractive than others) of the staff so I'd like to highlight an important but often overlooked element of any bar/eatery.
The toilets flush beautifully, a really satisfying press on the handle is rewarded with a good quality water flush with appropriate flushing sounds. 10/10 would poo here again.
Oh god, the pizza was fantastic, they did me a half and half, it was so so good. The staff were so friendly and the fridges were full of different beers. I loved the decor, it was totally perfect for a sci fi and pizza lover.
