We stayed over St Patrick’s weekend and needed a hotel close to the city centre, well you couldn’t get much closer! Right next to the car park and Liverpool lime street (both can be seen from the window). Service was amazing right from check in to check out. Breakfast was lush, nice hot breakfast and lots of continental items as well, definitely worth paying for. The room smelt lovely and clean and looked pristine. HOWEVER…. When we first came we were asked to provide our registration number for the discount at St John’s car park, all fine, when we left we double checked at the reception about our parking and how to pay and they said to leave as normal and pay at the exit and it should be £12, we got to the exit and it was £20, we were told if it’s more than £12 to call for help so we did and the car park attendant said we should’ve been given a code, we explained what happened and he still said the hotel haven’t processed our number plate so we were stuck in the exit and had to call the hotel who said we don’t need a code and WE should’ve left our registration with the desk. The absolute cheek! We DID!! So they processed it for us on the phone and then we could leave but it caused unnecessary stress and accused us of being the problem. Really put a downer to the whole hotel stay as before this happened I wrote a glowing review. I would stay again but be prepared to have issues with parking.

My recent stay at Holiday Inn was nothing short of exceptional. Situated right next to Lime Street Station, the convenience of getting to and from the hotel couldn't have been better. The rooms were not only clean but also spacious, providing ample room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the city. From the moment I checked in, the staff ensured a seamless experience, and their attention to detail truly made me feel valued as a guest. If you're looking for a hotel that combines prime location with comfortable accommodations, then this place is it. There are even bus stops nearby that take you the anfield and royal albert dock.

I will always keep this hotel in my best memories. I hope to come back often and recommend it to my clients (I'm a tour guide in Paris and London). About the hotel: excellent location, comfortable and clean rooms, good breakfast, excellent value for money. Hotel difference: service! Kind and very helpful staff. I would like to express my special thanks to Debbie and Leda who made all the difference in our experience and set up a special date.

Genuinely friendly staff throughout the hotel and in a prime location opposite Lime Street station in the centre of Liverpool. Rooms are spacious with the usual amenities you would expect such as tea/coffee and air conditioning. Breakfast was a good selection including made to order eggs. It is also very reasonably priced for add ons if you choose to pay on the day. Very good hotel.

A Clean and modern Hotel straight opposite the main train station but also had good secure parking. All the staff I dealt with whilst I was there either in the restaurant or on the front desk were very pleasant and friendly. Catherine and the team made me welcome in their hotel.

I can not fault our 4 night visit to Liverpool, attending a conference and celebrating our anniversary. Staff excellent, facilities just as we wanted, rooms spotless, Leda the Guest Services Manager really helpful. Location perfect.

I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. Check in was very quick and efficient and friendly. The room was great for a short stay with plenty of space, wardrobe, desk, TV, good free WiFi, comfy bed, plenty of pillows, good curtains that blocked out the light, nice bathroom with good quality shampoo, shower gel and soap. I had the breakfast included which was very good. Buffet with everything you could think of. Lovely sausages and nice to have hash browns as well. Also had good quality sliced bread as well as a really good fresh loaf you could cut yourself. Friendly staff bringing tea and coffee, and plenty of available tables. My company had hired one of the meeting rooms which worked out really well. There was plenty of water, tea and coffee in the room (refreshed a few times during the day) and they brought pastries in the morning, packets of biscuits during the day, and then freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. They gave us lunch in the restaurant which consisted of sandwiches and freshly cooked chips. Everything seemed very well organised and all the staff were excellent. The hotel is just across the road from Liverpool Lime Street station and close to the hundreds of bars, restaurants and shops in town. Would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend using their business services as well.

Wow! For a 3 star hotel I was very pleasantly surprised especially with their breakfast food! The hotel is located perfectly in Liverpool central walkable to the station and everywhere you need to go! The room was great, but it did get a little cold at night as their heated ventilators weren’t able to keep up with the cold, but the hotel reception were able to resolve this by giving us a heated radiator. The main thing I liked about this hotel is the quality of the food! On my god….it was superb quality! Sausages tasted like sausages, eggs tasted like eggs and they were very accommodating by giving us veggie sausages as we had a vegetarian in the group! The car park is literally next door to the hotel and it only costs £6 per day to park (you just need to give reception your car registration)! Overall very happy with this stay and I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Liverpool! 100% recommend this hotel! 😊

We are only back from a two night break in Liverpool, I honestly didn't know what to expect when we booked the holiday inn, I was looking for something that was firstly value for money, buy also in a good location for shopping and nightlife, well this hotel ticks both those boxes. Hotel is on the 500 & 86A bus route from the Airport. The hotel is situated directly opposite Lime Street station. The outside view of the hotel is very deceiving, it seems to have been built in amongst a shopping mall and looks a bit dated, but once you go through the revolving door, you are entering in to a very modern hotel which is spotless clean. there are 9 storeys with all the bedrooms being on floors 3-9, the bar and restaurant and a number of meeting rooms are all on floor 2. We stayed in a King bed standard room B&B and we had a view over the city. The bathroom was well equipped with plenty of toiletries and towels. We had breakfast included in our rate, but can be purchased separately also. There's a very good selection of hot and cold breakfast options and plenty of staff on hand to ensure a very pleasant experience. I cant wait to return to this hotel in the near future.

Stayed there to watch a show locally. The hotel is lovely! Very modern and comfortable. The staff are lovely and really can’t do enough, nothing is a problem for them. Room we had was very clean and bright. Bathroom had everything you would expect. Plenty towels which were lovely and fluffy. Evening meal we had was delicious, breakfast was equally as good. We have booked to come back in October 23.

Handy city centre chain Hotel with convenient parking on doorstep. Bathroom has a shower over a very small bath. A stand alone shower would be a huge improvement

Central location, clean and spacious room. Lifts available. Bit dingy if you take the stairs, huge water damaged area between rooms and the restaurant. The restaurant has had an uplift and looks great. Breakfast is very good and a great selection of cold and hot (buffet). Budget friendly

I have only stayed here once and the visit was great - I more use this as a place to meet my London clients - they come into Limestreet train station and straight across the road to a nice Starbucks coffee. Great venue with great service and views.

Great room, very good service. Only small disadvantage is that I couldn't charge my phone on the bedside table.

Super accessible to everything around us, walking distance to Liverpool Central, and just a stone's throw away from Lime Station. One negative comment is the beds. It's too soft and concaves the moment you lie down on it.
