Nice gay friendly bar, stopped in for a few drinks after a gig in Liverpool. Decent music, nice friendly barman served me and made us feel comfortable. Other bars around were very quiet. Would return if we're in the area again

My favourite bar in Liverpool. Has all of the trappings of a classic pub with booths and wooden decor, a pool table, friendly staff and good selection of drinks. It’s also feels very safe and welcoming being a queer woman there.
A safe place for the gays. The decoration inside (especially the roof) is breathtaking. I went on a Tuesday night so it was not busy but the atmosphere was really nice and the staff is very friendly.
A must-see decorative building - very grand ceilings. The Drag Queen (Sunday & Wednesday) plays fabulous music and creates a good vibe - always engaging and friendly. It attracts a fun, mixed & welcoming clientele. The bar staff friendly and helpful. All round good experience.

I have been to this really old basement bar many times before. This time I called in on a Tuesday night. It was almost empty. Maybe that's because Liverpool Pride had taken place the weekend previous. Must say I really like this bar. Il be back again
First time in Liverpool and was incredibly friendly queer space which my boyfriend and I felt welcome. Good selection of drinks and the pizza was absolutely delicious for only £7 highly recommended. I couldn’t ask for more. Very beautiful furniture and decorations.

Good food & a good selection of bottled beers. This is a friendly but quiet pub & is ideal for couples & small groups of friends. This place is well worth a visit to enjoy the amazing plaster mould ceiling & the dark wood panelling.
