Had a lovely tasty meal and great service for me, my mum, 2 adult daughters and my baby granddaughter. We were offered a highchair straightaway which was great and were given plenty of time to view the menu as there were so many things we wanted to try. Tables were nice and clean and it has a calming atmosphere. We had a lovely cocktail whilst waiting for our food. Food was delicious and good sized portions. Would definitely go back again.

11/10. My girlfriend and I got the £30 set menu and it was an incredible 3 course meal which included a bottle of wine each. Value for money was class, however, I was more taken back at how amazing the steak was. Would’ve paid £30 for the steak alone. Highly recommend, hidden gem of allerton road. Service great too!
Had a delicious roast here last weekend. Lovely staff, tasty food, very enjoyable.
Everyone was lovely and very helpfully, and thankfully, managed to squeeze us into a busy Sunday service. We were in the local area and searched the top rated places - we weren’t disappointed! The food was well cooked and seasoned, with good Sunday roast choices for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Would recommend, but perhaps be prepared and pre-book to guarantee a space! Thanks for having us.
Lovely meal here this evening - we had the salt and pepper halloumi and two roast dinners.
The staff are very helpful and attentive, and the food is well priced.
The reason I've not given 5 stars is because the roast potatos were dry and waxy, very hard to cut through - and the vegetarian option could be something better like a nut roast, rather than another piece of veg ☺ overall very nice though!
Food was incredible and staff all lovely. Chef said they are working on a new menu including vegetarian and vegan options. Definitely going back soon!
Lovely addition to the thriving Allerton Road food scene. I had the halloumi starter and pulled pork burger both very nice - the wedges especially were delicious. Squeezed in a pud (just) which was very good too. Staff were very friendly and showed us the almost finished upstairs area. Bigger than it looks from the outside.
Drinks were good too - nice gin and good real ales. Seats at bar if you just want a drink it's fine. Slightly off the main drag but well worth a visit. Reasonably priced set menu for 2 or 3 courses.
Omg this placevis amazing!! Highly recommend here, it has a unique decor, serves nice beer and the food is out of this world. We popped in on a sunday, I had an amazing perfectly cooked steak and my partner had a burger. We had a dessert too which was gorgeous. The owner came over to say hello and he was so passionate about what he does. I will definitely go back, probably for the sunday roast as it looked and smelt delicious.
Foods great. Nice atmosphere, staff are lovely great set menu that isn’t too expensive well worth the money boss little place.

First time visitors. Delighted to find there was a deal on that had 2 courses and a bottle of wine per person for £25. The food was very good and the fact that we could upgrade the house wine to one of your choice for a small supplement. The service was excellent, friendly and informed. Many thanks to our waitress.

I visited here tonight with my girlfriend. It was a lovely, warm experience. Live soft acoustic music, great service, and stunning food. We will be going back, most definitely. The food is on another level with a classy touch and half the price you pay in town.
