Love this Waterstones fantastic selection of books and gifts, we also love the cafe it is fantastic to go to a cafe who have a gluten free cake which actually looks like a normal sliced cake not individual dry packaged options. Friendly staff in the cafe and great selection of food we always visit this place for lunch whenever we visit Liverpool.
Big shop with lovely friendly staff. I was there for a "Meet The Author" event with Sarah Pinborough. My first of these. Helpful staff put me at ease and explained the procedure. Enjoyed the talk. Definitely recommend the store. Great place for book lovers.
Lovely place to read, drink coffee and eat cake, three of my favourite pastimes. Staff are helpful and it's pretty chilled out. Would recommend
A must when we visit Liverpool it's always the last shop we go to and always go for a drink very friendly staff in both the shop and the cafe
How times have changed!
I went to Waterstones to buy a book on advanced spreadsheets and databases in the not so distant past they had a whole section of shelves of computer related books that would take you a good while to browse through on a recent visit there were only two shelves tucked away in a corner.
Finished my book during travelling around so need another one so I can ready on my way back to London. Nice location and good service. A treasure of books available for all kind of.
If you like the smell of fresh books and coffee then Waterstones is the place to be. If you have children then it has a whole floor-almost-dedicated to children's books. Has nice little seating areas for your kids to get introduced to the beauty of a good book. Also has toilets next to the children's section which is very convenient. The coffee shop is a bit open plan. If you want to sit and have a quiet coffee with a book then then Waterstones fails to provide this-a missed opportunity-in my opinion. Overall a great experience for all you book worms. 5 stars from me!
Choosing books with the kids and great selection, inviting area and table and seats to look through choices. The lady at the children's section checkout was really friendly with the kids and offered an Easter chocolate as well as a sticker or bookmark. Made book buying an exciting event on a rainy day!
Great accessible place to eat, drink and chat. Staff very friendly and helpful. Surrounded by and to be inspired by a wealth of books while stopping and pausing to breathe in life's hectic schedule.
If you like reading. Here is the best place for it. In addition to being able to enjoy a beautiful coffee or even a small meal, you can always accompany it by reading an excellent book. If you have difficulty deciding something, you always have the support of the excellent staff. My favorite place.
A book-lover's dream! You enter downstairs and see lots of books, and then upstairs there are even more, and then a cafe, too!
First time visiting Waterstones in Liverpool. I had my 13yr old book mad daughter with me and she didn’t want to leave! It was amazing inside. Definitely one of the best Waterstones I’ve ever visited. Friendly staff and it was great to be made aware of the Waterstones app.

I came here on a day trip to Liverpool. It was very busy (I've never seen a Waterstone's this busy before.) The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
