"Great night at this reliably friendly pub... good food and beer and atmosphere as always the food was very good. The ambience also good plus the service absolutely excellent. They always make a dog welcome too which always good for our fury friends . Love this place. It's not 'cheap' but it's good
Paid a flying visit from Hull to a christening in Liverpool. Decided to try for a pub meal in the area before driving back. The meals were amazing, best we've had for a while. Only wish we lived nearer, would make it a weekly treat! Thanks so much to all.

Brilliant little pub, had not been there before but was a cracking place, staff were excellent, good selection of beers, and we only had a side food wise but will be going back for a full meal as everything that came out of kitchen looked and smelled fantastic, good screens for sports and good music
We had our annual first date meal enjoyed it emecley and the food was hot and very tasty and a lovely time with the staff who as usual Amazing 👏
Watched Wolves vs Liverpool here, it was 'bouncing', very lively and the atmosphere was tremendous.
The drinks were cold and went down with ease, the staff were very welcoming inside the very busy establishment.
Will definitely go back and try the food again but maybe when it is a bit quieter.

Went to watch the match on Sunday evening had a lovely pie and chips and their signature hunters chicken. Staff are friendly and welcoming lovely atmosphere as well highly recommend
