Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! I've never been here before until recently and I can tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. The level of food quality here was absolutely delicious. The service was really good, one of the waitresses was super pleasant and attentive to the table! It was really nice!
For folks who have a dietary requirement of halal food, it is halal! The waitress even offered to show the certificate which made me smile! Super big bonus!
You have got to try the lamb kofte, I ordered it twice!
I would highly recommend this place, the views of the dock, the aesthetic and the atmosphere were really nice. Will definitely visit again!
Had trouble booking on their site so wandered over to see if I could get in. Only option was to sit outside but so glad I did. Food was incredible, and service top notch. Book in advance, but definitely go if you like tapas style food.
Maray has been my favourite restaurant in Liverpool for years now and it never disappoints. Came this week for the Dry January pairing dinner with Lucky Saint and the food and drink were exceptional from start to finish, service and atmosphere were class as always, and such good value for money. Will be back again very soon!
First visit to Maray and hopefully not the last! Lovely atmosphere down on the docks. Server was really helpful in recommending dishes- all of which were so flavoursome. Favourite was the Broccoli with Coconut and Disco Cauliflower. Thank you Maray!
This place had a buzz to it even at 9pm when we were eating - the Macedonian red wine was incredible🍷I recommend the steak as it was cooked perfectly and had a lovely peppercorn sauce. The sea bass was also a hit 🐟- the prawn dish is very strong tasting - it came with a bisque kind of sauce that wasn’t to everyone’s liking but they were gorgeously presented. The staff were laid back but attentive 👌
Food and service fantastic the girl who served was outstanding she was full of personality and banter and recommended great choices of food and drink. Will definitely be back again!
Had high expectations and the food certainly delivered. Will be recreating the Sprout and Chestnut Houmous over Christmas.
The service was fine but felt a bit hurried and pedestrian (just [pick 2 /3 and your good to go) some guidance /recommendations would have been good, particularly as the place was too dark to see the menus.
Would go again and maybe research in advance.
Really nice dishes. We had cauliflower, aubergine, chicken, salad and pita bread; all delicious in view (could perhaps been somewhat more spiced). Great selection of vegan courses, a plus. Diverse selection of wines (we took Lebanese white) and nice to experience the possibility of 1/2 liter carafe. Can recommend.

Absolutely delicious food! ❤️ Also, they have so many good vegetarian/Vegan dishes! Must try 🤌🏻
It is perfect of the flavor and texture and the waitress is very kind, fantastic ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️❤️
Beautifully located on the Liverpool dockside, even better in the late afternoon and evening when all the lights are lit.
Ordered several dishes to share on the table and none of them disappointed.
The Disco Cauliflower (as suggested by so many other reviews) were absolutely delicious.
The crispy squid were a little on the spicy side but still very good and the baked halloumi were so tender, all the way through (not crumbly at all).
I also highly recommend the Medjool date bread and butter pudding - I can't stop thinking about this dessert. Right amount of sweetness and with the chantilly cream - it was perfect.
If I found a place like this when I was visiting a new city I'd be delighted. We are so lucky to have Maray in Liverpool. Situated in the Albert Dock, a popular tourist area, tasty food served as small plates. A relaxed vibe and friendly service. I've been here and the Bold Street branch many times.
Maray manages that difficult trick of balancing a laid-back vibe with incredible efficiency behind the scenes with ease. The food is absolutely top-notch and we explored a table of dishes that were a delight to the senses. The view across Albert Dock is amazing as the sun sets but it is the staff who truly bring the magic. They are efficient, knowledgeable and charming with plenty of tips on how the get the best from the menu. One of the best evenings I've had in years. Thank you.
Lovely food, and great service. Paying between £8 and £12 per plate, and it's a "pick two or three small plates" kinda deal. In my opinion this is a much better style than a traditional starter and big main restaurant, but each to their own. Some of the dishes felt a bit on the pricey side. The 'hot plate' in particular was basically their take on an indian-style poppadom and chutney tray, but much more expensive. Tumeric onions were great!
Felt the downstairs was a little cramped - not much room to maneuver between tables.
The highlight was the disco cauliflower, which feels like the Thing to get to impress first time visitors. It was absolutely delicious.
Will I be back? Not sure. But if you haven't been, I'd recommend!
First time trying this and the food is really good. The staff were very nice too. However its quite pricy. Also did not know that it was a tapas restuarant until we were seated - personally im not a tapas type of person but don't get me wrong the food is very tasty. I was most disappointed with the mackerel. I know tapas dishes aren't suppose to be big but I paid £9.50 for a very small piece of Mackerel.
