We called in yesterday for a meal before a show at the Philharmonic Hall. We had a starter each that we shared. Then we both had a pizza. The food was very good, the atmosphere was nice and staff were friendly. Will call in again, very nice.

Vegan pizza.... AMAZING! It's so hard to find vegan options for pizza that include cheese. THANK YOU for giving us an option. Would LOVE more - but this is a fantastic start. A+++++

Food was good. Staff were friendly. And they are willing to adjust Menu to accommodate for allergy and intolerance. Opposite Liverpool philharmonic building.... A good place to stop for a bite perhaps. Was quite busy, but staff managed to keep the efficiency... It's what you would expect from a Pizza express.

This is a lovely pizza chain! Great food with good student deals, especially on weekdays. The staff are always lovely and service is timely. This location isn't normally super busy so you will get served quickly. I often bring friends here

Lovely welcome by staff, who were attentive and helpful Great interior, with a light industrial touch, which compliments the building exceptionally well. Lovely touches on the design with the braille relief work to the buildings heritage. Food and service was excellent Great location opposite Philharmonic Hall Toilets spotlessly clean Kitchen viewable, so can be fascinating for children to see their food prepared

Really tasty food, good service and very handy for our visit to the Liverpool Philharmonic. Situated in a lovely old building with good atmosphere and historic setting. Quite expensive - £42 for one adult and one child although, to be fair, granddaughter did have adult meal.

I have visited the restaurant before and I love the atmosphere here, so I thought I’d go in for a coffee and get some work done. The staff were all very friendly and it was clear they have a great relationship with each other. Best Pizza Express in Liverpool!

Very good clean smart P Ex, staff great, good disabled toilets. Only reason not 5* is because why oh why can't you serve garlic bread without cheese? All in all great location, great price, very good deals eg: meerkats 2 4 1 etc. Highly recommended.

Been out this evening to visit a dear friend who’s just got out of hospital. As with most things in my life, if it’s gonna happen it’s gonna mean me on my todd with both little boys in tow. Anyway, after spending a couple of hours with our pal, time was getting on a bit, I had nothing prepped for tea and not much in after a crazy week so decided to swing by the Pizza Express on Hope st. Sometimes eating out solo, especially on weekends when places are rammed, and with the youngest (aged 3’s) disabilities, I do seriously wonder if I need my head testing paying upwards of £50 nicker for the privilege (OK- torture 😆), but tonight I ask for the bill and get given a receipt that says “this one’s on us”! Gobsmacked and so grateful!! I wish I could remember the name of the absolute angel who served us but the manager on duty was called Charlotte. They said they saw me like an octopus, feeding the baby with one hand, myself with another, supervising my elder boy and trotting to the loo all 3 of us together plus bags, and that they just wanted to treat me. Blown away! I love to acknowledge great service and the big chains often get a bad rep but this really was such a lovely gesture and has made a stressed out single mama’s weekend ❤️

The usual good standard of Italian style food that you find at any Pizza Express. A clean restaurant although not cozy. Popular with students.
