My favourite ever restaurant, I have been going for over 20 years, fab food, best ribs and hot and sour soup, the beef mushroom melts in your mouth and the bbq sauce is to die for, staff are lovely
My family, friends and I have regularly visited the Ying Wah over the years and last week we had a surprise meal for my husbands 40th birthday. The service and food were fab as usual and Simon was a great help in the preparations for the evening. Would recommend to anyone wanting a function of any kind or just a nice meal out!

Superb food and staff, been going there for 20 years+. I don't live in Liverpool anymore, but when I'm back in Woolton I always try and visit. Highly recommended. Amazing Sui Mai!
Been going to the Ying Wah for years, we had a take away last week on collection and it was fantastic! Lovely staff, a staple of woolton for sure!
Edit: we've actually been back and the new restaurant is amazing after the renovation! It's comfy, welcoming and stylish! The menus are easy to read with great helpful staff, would 100 recommend!
This restaurant is lovely, the staff work extremely hard to ensure your experience is the best it can be. The food, service and price is amazing. You need to visit to see what I mean. Lovely evening had by all.
Overall it was nice, most of the food was great but the ribs weren't very good due to their flavour. I would eat here again.

Had a lovely meal here yesterday. I was a bit cautious after reading mixed reviews on here. But the service was excellent ( no service charge on the bill). The food was delicious ...ribs, sweet and sour prawns. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was my husband thought his main meal portion was a bit small. Mine was fine.

We dined as a large party and it was an ideal place. The food was nice, service was great for a large party and they have clearly managed large number before.
Really tasty food, lovely staff, and fast service. Quite expensive for a family of four but as a treat not too often, not too bad 😉
Good menu and tasty food. Been a few times and never disappointed. Reasonable on price too.
