Even though I’m born and bred in the West Midlands I’ve always felt like this place is a second Home, I’m a huge Beatles and LFC fan and get such a strange feeling I get when I’m there, but a positive one, I love this place, we travel up as often as we can, sometimes stay 2 nights and just drive around the city and take it in. I don’t like to act like a tourist and I like to look at and go places that tourists don’t go to, inner Liverpool and outer Liverpool, the people are great, very warm and friendly, great atmosphere and a special buzz, it’s history and what it’s given to the world. Liverpool will always have a place in my heart!
Was here for 3 days, 2 nights. Done the Mersey cruise, visited the shopping centres and sampled the many pubs including the world famous Cavern club. Great place would definitely come back
Every thing is good about the area , also it is a perfect dropping off point for excursions
Perfect place for lunch and visiting museums. The parking is a bit extreme so be prepared. But a lovely afternoon
It was windy and rainy on that day , but ... the dock is beautiful . Liverpool museum is just 5 mins walking away . Such a romantic place for a couple :) since there are many love locks along the dock :) where lovers can leave padlocks engraved with their name , that reminds me of Namsan tower in Seoul , But love locks in Seoul are much more colourful and cute :)
Beautiful place plenty to see and do fantastic place's to eat and drink
My first visit to Liverpool and I loved how easy the city is to walk around. The Liverpool museum is well worth a visit to gain insight into the city's history. I will go on the tour around the docks next I visit this fine city.
I love this place . The city and the history very wonderful .
Lovely views shops and vans selling food and drink
Brilliant place so much to do and see plenty of places to eat and drink love it
Best place in Liverpool when it’s not raining...👌🏻
Simply one of my favourite places. Always a friendly atmosphere
Stayed at a hotel on the docks, had a meal and night out and spent the day walking round with plenty to see and do can't wait to go back
I am from Liverpool and love my city i was proud today to show 4 Welsh people and 2 Canadians around Albert Dock I’m glad to say they loved it, and are hoping to come back again as soon as they can
Had such an amazing night! The fireworks was different class. So much hard work put into that event. Well done guys 💥
Absolutely amazing could of easily of spent a couple more hours there
great night at the river of lights. pulled out all the stops this year
Location and Quality. The location is very historic and docks beautifully restored. It was a bit cold for us to go outside but the inside was spacious. Lighting and decor were very pleasing and modern. I can't remember the food too well as I was filling up and the cheap massive glasses of Hoegaarden. Our food was top quality and our drinks were worthy of the restaurants name. We had a great time for a good price.
I recently visited the Pump House and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was very busy, which added to the energy of the restaurant. However, it did make it a bit difficult to have a conversation with my dining companions.
The food I ordered was nice. I started with the fried halloumi, which was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. For my main course, I had the duck hash, which was also delicious. One thing that was disappointing was the lemon tart it didn't quite meet our expectations. It wasn't the right consistency of a Lemon Tart.
Unfortunately, my parents both ordered the steak and were not impressed. It was not cooked to their liking and lacked flavor. They were both disappointed with their meals.
Overall, my visit to the Pump House was enjoyable, but I wouldn't rush back. The food I had was good, but there were some misses with the lemon tart and the steak. The atmosphere was lively, but it was a bit too loud for my taste. I would recommend giving it a try, but it may not become a regular spot for me.
Nice pub with prime location in the water. Was a bit disappointed by the club sandwich, but the onion rings were Michelin star onion rings.. If MSROs are a thing.
As you'd expect in Liverpool, the welcome was welcome and servers were friendly.
First of all Sophie and Chantelle were awesome. Really pleasant, funny, and attentive. (Even though Sophie went on her break midway between serving us!!)
The food...... I'm a tough one to please. Usually everything is 'ok' and you'll not get more out of me. I'm also very hesitant because it's basically part of a chain. But, the food we had tonight was really worth 5 stars. The flavours were very enjoyable and I genuinely struggled to tell whether it was the usual pre cooked and reheated nonsense that these places usually serve. I actually enjoyed it!
We sat in a small area downstairs from the main or ground floor. The music being played was loud enough to hear and sing along with if you wish, but also no speakers in our little area so we could still enjoy each other's company, if we wished.
All in all this is our first time in Liverpool and we are booked up for meals for the rest of our stay, but we are already planning for when we can next come back.
The Pump House is a very welcoming establishment, with very good food served by fantastic staff in a truly Amazing city and we can't wait to be back.
Signature Burger and Signature Pork Belly pictured
Very reasonable prices, good drinks and a very good atmosphere! Location was perfect too right on the docks! And was in a lovely building as well - a good place to end the evening!
A nice pub with a lively atmosphere. There are quite a few seating options but it can get very busy during peak times. There is a good range of drinks to choose from including some Beatles themed beer.
Still one of the best beer houses in Liverpool and the atmosphere down by the docks is doing the rest to enjoy the time there.
I hvnt eaten there, so I can't say anything about it
I stop here whenever I am in Liverpool and am catching the ferry to Isle if Man. It's about a 15-minute walk to the terminal. It's in a cool location, down in Albert Dock along the water. The inside of the pub is very nice, with tables and also a good mix of seating near the bar. It gets busy as its in a tourist area and is a nice pub.
Great spot for lunch. Delicious food. Service was excellent, it was busy but staff still made time to come and ask about your meal. Service with a smile 😃
A popular meeting place for locals and tourists alike when down by the dock. On high days and holidays, time your visit right as this place can get crammed. Serves a very well-kept pint and tasty pub grub. It's well worth a visit.
Whenever I get there it’s busy, nevertheless I don’t mind waiting for my pint and enjoying it in this amazing place
Went here once or twice while on a mini Liverpool break.
Drinks and service was good, disappointed with food though. Had a chicken sharer but the strips were overcooked.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Worth a visit due to location, right on the Albert docks
Booked a table for lunch , pub was heaving do it was a good thing we did.
First time I've been here in years and was pleasantly suprised.
Food was great, as was the table service. The pies were spot on!
Really enjoyed our visit.
I had a really nice time at this pub, the food was amazing (I had the vegan chilli - so tasty!).
I was served by Aiden who was happy to let us try the cask ales until we got one we really loved. The plum porter was great.
It was a great vibe for a while but as we were finishing our meals, lots of annoying, loud men came to the bar which sort of spoilt it to be totally honest. This of course wasn’t the fault of the pub or staff, it’s just what the location attracts I suppose.
Overall, a brill experience. Definitely somewhere I’ll be visiting again!
Visited for evening meal as part of my Sister In Laws Hen Night.
Very nice pub - good range of drinks. Was a little disappointed that the peach cider wasn't available but still enjoyed the strawberry cider as an alternative.
Was able to sample an ale which tasted good.
Food was lovely and the staff were friendly.
Good atmosphere.
Nice pub and surroundings. Food was okay and reasonably priced. Good service and drinks were nice.
