Good atmosphere in the industrial setting of Liverpool Baltic Triangle. We went for a Punk Afternoon Tea which they cater for vegan and veggie along with a meat option. You can choose cocktails which are presented in tea pots which was rather quirky. Food wise its definitely an alternative menu to the traditional afternoon tea and we enjoyed it all with the exception of the veggie cleanser posset - looked unappealing as very watery, looked as those the ingredients had split. We didn't complain as we were totally full up. Would go again

What a lovely place! Had afternoon tea here on a Sunday and it was superb. The atmosphere is great. There were groups of people there for Sunday Roast and a baby shower. A family with young children enjoyed their lunch. A few couples came in for a quiet drink and the place never felt rammed or unwelcoming. Staff are chilled and helpful. The food not only looks good but tasted fresh and with decent portions was pretty satisfying. Loved the idea that the "tea" served with the "Afternoon Tea" was really a cocktail. Unique without trying too hard at all!

I like the idea of this place; cool, chilled and casual - my kind of place. I had the salt & pepper burger which was nice although the chips were a little under cooked. Only downside was that there were quite a lot of fruit flies around which then made it feel as if the place was unclean.

Was in the baltic end of town the night of the England v Croatia match. . . After visiting Redbrick Market we headed back into town and spotted this place and nipped in for a swift drink at around 3pm. A dimly lit mishmash of odd chairs and rustic wooden tables with a nice looking bar. Basic drinks menu with beers - wines - few cocktails. We ordered a teapot full of pink gin fizz! (Different!) We were given a cup&saucer to drink from with our pot of gin fizz! The gin fizz was 'okay' and we did enjoy it as it was red hot out and the fizz was ice cold! We were peckish so ordered a portion of salt&pepper chips between us. It was massive and pretty good 👍🏻 The bill came to £26 which wasnt bad as the teapot was big! The atmosphere was nice and relaxed in there and we chatted away for an hour or so eating our chips and gradually emptying the teapot! The food being brought out to other tables looked quite nice too! I said it was dimly lit but they switched the lights on after ½ hour which transformed the place. Why did I not give 5 stars? I'll be honest! Our table was a bit sticky like it needed a wipe over - my only gripe. The staff were lovely and attentive by the way! So no issues there 👌🏼 So yeah we enjoyed our hour or so in the baltic social and will pop in again if near there 👍🏼

Excellent quality and reasonable prices, especially for the Baltic Triangle. Staff are very friendly and service is quick. The interior decoration is a bit of a mix-match but works for the casual, welcoming atmosphere.

The Baltic Social is a great place to eat and drink. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. Try the traditional Scouse. Another bonus is that The Baltic Social is open when the nearby eateries in the Cains Brewery are shut early in the week.

Amazing place for food and drink, we've enter had the home delivery service a few times too which has been a God send due to this pandemic. Me and my Mrs will also be ordering the Valentines set too which we can't wait for!!

Visited here for afternoon tea. Cool, quirky venue and friendly staff. Afternoon tea was fun - good to have it be slightly different, enjoyed all the burgers, sausages & chips, and they were able to accommodate for my partner who is vegetarian. Only minor quibble was it said that the afternoon tea came with pretzels, but ours didn't. The waitress quickly rectified this, but did say "Oh you'd like additional pretzels" - We hadn't had any to begin with, so they weren't additional, they were just the ones we should have had! The toilets there were a bit confusing - couldn't tell if they were vacant or engaged, so had to spend time loitering outside!

Lovely time with fabulous food. Food delivery was a little slow with it being pre-ordered (afternoon tea with deposits), but no complaints otherwise! Very nice food and the cocktails in a teapot were lovely.

Good place for a quiet Sunday roast. Nice selection of beer as well, but prices quite high. I would've appreciated a little friendliness or chatter from the staff. I was a traveler dining alone and would've appreciated some engagement. The place was nearly empty.

Brilliantly quirky place. Came here as part of a hen party for 'Punk afternoon tea' cocktails came in teapots with teacups and the afternoon tea contained burgers, chips and sweets all served in a delicate tea party style - so much more satisfying than cucumber sandwiches. If you fancy afternoon tea with a twist then this is the place for you!
