Bundobust is a restaurant in Liverpool centre one serving Indian street food and craft beer.
We opted the combo meals and okra fries.
Their Okra fries is a must try. They have variety in Crafted beers which are amazing.
Food taste is good but the portion sizes are smaller compared to the price. One dish is not enough to fill your hunger.
The place opens up into a vast area with long tables and benches giving a feel of a canteen or a mess.
Designer Bundobust merchandise is on display for sale.
The place is vibrant to hang out.
Amazing vibe, lovely service. As a Chaat lover from India, I would definitely recommend the Bundo Chaat which is crispy, delicious and has all the mouth-watering spices you need. Also tried their special Indo-chinese menu which I would say was a bit over priced as compared to the quantity but amazing quality!
loved the vibes of the place itβs so lively ππΌπ
I tried dishes on the pictures and all of them were delicious specially the one with chickpea and spinach π
But everything was soooo spicy πΆοΈ
I liked the chai as well ππΌππΌ with very strong ginger flavor πππΌ
Price little high I think .. but as a new experience itβs ok πππ» and the service was good .. all the staff were super friendly ππ»ππ»
Went for lunch with a friend and ordered the indo-chinese combo. It was fantastic!
Finished off with some chai brandys, which again were great!
Would highly recommend going here!
My favourite place to go, they never disappoint! I recommend the Paneer Tikka, Bhaji's, Puri Bread & Orka Fries! & for drinks Mango Lassi
Walked in on a Sunday evening before a comedy night. Plenty of space and the place wasn't too busy.
Staff were friendly enough albeit it's bar or app ordering so you don't really have much interaction.
Many will know what Indian street food is like if they're a foodie, expect everything to be a bit spicier than a UK plate will be and you won't be surprised. The food arr8ved within 20 minutes and was delicious, having gone for the two person sharer both me and my fiance were stuffed.
Positives are a massive selection of world beers, including some very tasty coconut beers. As a rum man the Dirty Lopez is a definite yes for those who like a fruity cocktail too!
The only down side was waiting 15 minutes for the drinks (understandable on a busy night, but not when the place is not even a quarter full) and there being no meat options at all. Luckily all the food being good made up for the veggie menu.
Would go again.
Delicious food and drink nice staff except one bartender just seemed a bit sad, except from that very good place and would go again.
Authentic, delicious, vegeterian Indian food coupled with a large selection of craft beers. Is this heaven?
Nice airy, open space to eat, with plenty of seating.
Upstairs, on Bold Street.
Good selection of dishes, quite well-priced.
The food arrived quickly, and was very tasty. Good for sharing.
Wide selection of craft beers, too.
Good Indian dishes in the heart of Liverpool, near to Liverpool centre and liverpool lime Street
Fabulous place. The staff are so helpful as we didn't have a clue what to order. Prices are very reasonable and the food was amazing
Ordered a couple of dishes. The chole saag served with puri was thick and really good. The vada pav was fantastic. It's the closest thing I've eaten to a Mumbai vada pav outside of India. Love the green chilli added to the it. Wish I had the time to try more from this place
My favourite restaurant in Liverpool! The food is always exceptional, and their craft beer offering is always varied and flavourful. Add to this the great service and wonderful vibe and decor, and what's not to love?! β€οΈ
Delicious veggie Indian!! Definitely check out the changing specials menu. The staff are super friendly and will help you out with the menu if needed. Great selection of drinks. Highly recommend
Nice Indian street food, with nice selection of craft beers. The portions are small, so normally you order 2/3 things, and they all are quite filling. There is a good variety and they all are vegetarian or vegan. Fun for an evening out with friends as you can order few things and all share / try everything. Tables are the big long ones, with long benches, so you might end up sharing the table with other people.
Our table was not clean though, before they made us sit down and the air conditioning was blowing right behind our heads. Asked to turn it down, but they said they couldn't, we ended up wearing jackets the whole time. It's on the first floor, and I couldn't seem to find a wheelchair friendly access, only stairs, but I could be wrong and they have a special access somewhere at the back.
Good place to hangout, Indian authentic cuisine and great ambiance.
However, food portion is less for the price( despite it is mentioned that recommended 2-3 dishes for person) I felt they could increase the portion for the price.
But the quality of the food is really really good. I personally like bhatura and paneer kadai.
Surprisingly, very authentic Indian street food, Flavoursome and spicy, not just hot chilly, they use dill, tamarind and fenugreek in alot of the food. However its all either vegan or vegetarian. Would give 5 stars if there was a meat option. There is wheelchair access via a lift located at the back of the ground floor, not clearly visible but it's there. You need to give this place a try!
