Again, as it seems to be a Liverpoolian tradition, the service is excellent. Such a nice, welcoming staff who try their best to serve customers. Food was good and the restaurant has a lot of room to offer. It's located near Liverpool One, so a good place to be for shopping freaks in particular 😃

My favourite place for a good meal and drink in the UK. We have been here twice now, just recently and in 2014 and it does not disappoint. The service and food quality is excellent.

Went for a works night out and had a BLAST!! Food was insanely good. We all had the 2 courses and a bottle of wine deal and all had the steak. 10 of us and it was pretty busy; everyone got the correct order cooked as requested and were SILENT during the actual eating lol. Really great staff, brilliant experience, pricey but worth it.

Great pub with a great restaurant. The staff were very friendly and made us welcome. The menu was varied and the steak I ordered was cooked to perfection. The staff checked on us regularly without being obtrusive. It's close to the Arena and Conference Centre which made it ideal for us.

Came across this Alehouse whilst looking for somewhere that catered for Gluten Free Clientele. They went that extra mile, checked with the chef on everything that was ordered, and all the staff were friendly, professional and attentive. We had Brunch with Tea and Coffee which came under £12!!!! Will definitely be coming back. Deserves 5 Stars.

Lovely food, lovely staff, clean, reasonable prices even without a set menu, had the pear/blue cheese/ walnut starter and really enjoyed it, fish and homemade chips which was pure white chunky cod in a really light batter and then a lemon meringue pie which was perfect.. a couple of pink gins with lemonade finished a very pleasant night. Well done to all

Been here once while staying at a nearby hotel. Decent food and a great selection of beers and drinks for a reasonable price. Service was quick and staff were friendly. The tables are a bit sticky but it's not off-putting. Also, the 'proper chips' are amazing! Probably the best chips I've ever had!

Great venue with loads of character and a great atmosphere. Menu is very good and our food (traditional Fish & Chips + PiriPiri Chicken Burger) was superb. Staff were attentive, polite and very cheerful. Highly recommended to anyone in the L1 area of town and close by.

Love this place, very quickly became our go to when out shopping in Liverpool 1. Friendly staff who know their stuff about the menus and the drinks available. Great menu, Sunday lunch is deceptively filling. Great little spot.
