Great venue, great food and great service. Being cheapskates, we opted for the three course early evening menu for £16.90 and I couldn't fault the food at all. The only disappointment was the choice of background music of pan pipes - lets have traditional Indian music. We'll be back again.
I attended a Diwali celebration (Festival of Lights) at this restaurant at a friend's recommendation and was delighted with the experience. The staff and management were gracious and attentive, the buffet food was delicious and the entertainment (a fusion of Indian and Western dance music provided by a live duo of DJ's) was superbly mixed and added the perfect backdrop for the evening's festivities. The restaurant was abundant with Indian clientele which was a fantastic seal of approval. I have already recommended the restaurant to my friends and would gladly return to dine there in future.
Food was amazing. The wife thinks I've been a few times but I can't remember haha, must be that KingFisher on draft, beautiful pint that !!
Couldn't fault the place, will defo be going back
Sultans Palace food excellent, service great very friendly staff couldn't have been looked after better.
Gorgeous food great service highly recommend
Delicious food, attractive surroundings, good service. The people were very welcoming. Can't wait to visit again.
Again the most amazing food drink and experience xxxx
The food is always fabulous, so is the staff 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
One of the best curries I've had! Definitely recommend here if you like a good Indian meal
Fantastic food very friendly lovely atmosphere loved it would recommend xx
Tasty food, nice ambiance and polite staff, that's all you need when you eat out and this place is the best with that perspective. I had the best Indian food here in all over the UK. The spiciness of the food was just perfect. We ordered dal tadka, paneer kadai, plain naan and some garlic chilli naans. My personal favorite is the garlic chilli naan.
My ratings:

Sultan's palace is a place to get indian food away from home. The ambience is majestic with the interior resembling a royal palace.
The food is delicious and enjoyable.
The staff is courteous and the service is good. At times, it gets crowded and you may have to wait for some time.
Overall experience to have Indian food was great.
Had such a wonderful birthday meal with my family at Sultan’s Palace. The staff looked after us so well. I really recommend the South Indian Garlic Chicken curry and the butterfly prawns were so good. The decor inside is so beautiful with the arches that look like a palace. The kids had such a fun time as well. Can’t wait to go to again!
The restaurant was very busy when we went, so I would definitely book beforehand!
This was my first experience dining here. And may I congratulate you on an excellent service all staff polite and the food was lovely in taste and served hot and in traditional metal pots. The toilet area was nice and clean all so in the ladies. I can see your a well established restaurant as you was extremely busy and the turnover was busy so that tells me you are a successful restaurant.
I shall definitely be back with more friends.
Thank you for making the effort to celebrate my birthday.
Lovely atmosphere and great service! The food was brought out quickly despite being a busy Saturday night and so fresh. Definitely returning very soon!
Had a brilliant time - food, drink & service was excellent. Portion sizes were good. Food was delicious. The waiting staff were efficient and friendly. Time between each course was just right. A lovely restaurant. Highly recommend.
After arriving 30 minutes before our reservation we were seated within 5 minutes and served by Neha who was quick and polite with her service. Everything was served hot, fresh and full of flavour. We especially enjoyed the mattar paneer which had a good amount of spice to it. Price wise the restaurant is also really good. I definitely recommend this to any lover of Indian food!
I have been to this restaurant a number
Ber of times, but not for some time, until last night.
It is still the beautiful, calm place I remember.
From the moment you arrive the staff are friendly and helpful.
We had the banquet b for 2 people, and I couldn't recommend it enough.
A generous amount of food on each course and the highest quality of Indian food you could ask for.
The staff do not over ask if everything is OK, nor do they wait till you have a mouth full until they ask.
The lamb chops were my favourite on the starter. My daughter is not a fan of lamb, yet said she could have ate 10 of them.
Thr naan bread was piping hot and as fresh as you can get.
We were served by a lovely girl called Neha, who was more than helpful.
We brought home the food that was left over, i wouldn't have slept that night ifni hadn't as I'd be devestatedni had missed out, haha.
It filled up as we ate but was still not overly busy or noisy.
If you appreciate traditional Indian food, you will love this place.
And if you haven't tried it but want to, you really should go here.
I was so pleasantly surprised at the bill at the end. Even with a tip, I felt I had more than had my moneys worth.
Once finished eating, they provided warm wet towels to use, without the need to ask.
We smelled it last night and had to find out where that smell was coming from so we found this place. Food was incredible, service was amazing and those who were serving did such a great job. Only trouble was that it was a busy night and they only had 2 servers for a full restaurant. We were spending a long time waiting and there were people waiting to get in because of the lack of staff. Despite the staff being run off their feet, we had a great time and a good experience.
Couldn’t ask for better service! Thank you to Joshi and colleagues who looked after us. Ensured we had everything we needed, very polite, amazing customer service. Food was delicious and we enjoyed it very much! Very happy and our stomachs are full! Definitely worth paying a visit. Thanks again!
Was craving Indian food and came across Sultan’s palace! Yummy curries and lovely atmosphere. We tried the Chicken Korma and Butter chicken and both were delicious. The service was a bit slow but I would recommend it.
