I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mays Thai Restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! Located in Liverpool, UK, where I'm from, this restaurant provided a wonderful taste of Thailand right in the heart of our city.
The dishes at Mays Thai were bursting with authentic Thai flavors, and every bite was a journey through the rich and diverse world of Thai cuisine.
As a coffee lover, I can be quite discerning, and I was pleasantly surprised by the rich and aromatic coffee they served. It was indeed very, very nice and a perfect way to round off a delicious Thai meal.
The atmosphere at Mays Thai Restaurant was also worth mentioning. It's a great place for those who enjoy the art of savoring different foods and flavors, just like me. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff were attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
So, if you're in Liverpool and looking for a place to enjoy some exquisite Thai cuisine with a side of exceptional coffee, I highly recommend Mays Thai Restaurant. It's a true gem for those who appreciate good food, and I'm sure you'll have an unforgettable dining experience.

Recommended by a friend who knows a thing or two about Thai food and I thank him for it. It's run by two very lovely people who are the heart and soul of the place. Delicious, freshly prepared dishes that are not only beautifully light and authentic, the serving sizes are very decent indeed too. The prices make the whole meal simply excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
Fantastic value authentic Thai home style cooking, with great taste and ingredients. The place is very friendly with a community feel. Really enjoyable and I highly recommend Nay’s kitchen.
Really authentic Thai food. Took me right back to being in Thailand with the fresh flavours and spices! Loved it! Me and my mum got a red Thai curry and another spicy chicken dish. Really enjoyed it, we will be back.

Decided to try Mays Kitchen today 11/09/19, on a friends recommendation and we were not disappointed, we will be going back. Outstanding food and friendly service, very good price for what we had. We had the option to eat in or take away, we ate in. Great opening times, as its always difficult to find somewhere to eat after 2.30pm. Mays are open 12-8pm 6 days per week. Perfect!!! Cant wait to try something else on the menu.
Been meaning to try this place for months and WOW I’m so glad I did this evening. Really friendly welcome, they’d sold out of my favourite Thai dish (green curry) so was recommended Chicken Holy Basil and it was AMAZING! Really authentic, tasty and a proper kick of chilli heat. What a great place, I’ll definitely be back. 😋🌶
Called in for a quick afternoon bite. Absolutely delocious authentic fresh food which took me back to Thailand. Massive portions and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this place👍
We travelled up from london to visit friends and they were desperate to take us here. They kept waxing lyrical about the food and to be honest we thought it sounded too good to be true. However it 100% delivered!!! We just had the most insanely tasty, traditional Thai food. So fresh with exceptional flavours. You feel very relaxed, like you are in their front room and the service is extremely welcoming and friendly. We adore Thai food, we spent a lot of time in Thailand including going to a cookery class and have spent much time trying to find the authentic flavours in London and this is hands down is the very best we’ve found in the UK! Thank you!!!

This place is beautiful. The broths are so rich that I melted into them. May is a banging cook. Her husband is a banging host, he had such a warm hospitality and made us feel so welcome. I would thoroughly recommend coming here. Simple food made from the soul, for the soul.
Little hole in the wall in the Dingle area, cash only, take away service was about a 30 min wait. But super reasonable prices and what absolutely fabulous taste! Fresh, flavourful and delicious. Recommend 100%!

Without a doubt THE best new eatery in Liverpool at the moment. Fantastically tasty, authentic Thai food at reasonable prices. My mate was a wee bit unsure about Thai food, but the Scouse bloke who took our order just broke own the menu for us, so we knew exactly the kind of thing we wanted to try.
I got the Holy Basil Chicken, he got the Garlic Chicken. Clean plates afterward, seriously, I was mopping up the rest of the sauce from the takeaway box with a bit of bread. Actually can't wait to try this place again.
Thought I'd try something a bit new as well, so I got the Papaya Salad. Turns out the sweet, crunchiness of the Papaya was the perfect compliment to the spiciness of the Holy Basil sauce.
May's Thai Kitchen, you should be seriously proud of yourselves at the moment. I know the Dominoes up the road is going to eat up a bit of business, but I definitely will NOT be visiting an expensive, chain Pizza place when there's absolute GEMS like this, just two minutes walk away.
