It’s our first stop in Liverpool, we waited here for our checking time. Very spacious and cosy vibe! We ordered a white tea elderflower and a sacha green tea, both tasted good! Chai latte was not bad, but the flat white was a bit too big as I expected. Overall, it’s a good spot to chill and enjoy.

Great place for breakfast, delicious coffee and toasts, only the barista could be faster. We were waiting 20 minutes to get coffee (there were only 5 people).

Located in modern building in a quiet corner surrounded by ex-industrial blocks, this spot is not far from the main shopping mall in town, very easy to reach but still pretty laidback. I ordered a flat white with oat milk. It was one of the best I tasted recently, which was not only well balanced. In the beginning the rounded armour comes out with good flavour from oat milk, then the fruity sourness kicked in afterward, revealing a very well proceeded fruity touch, gentle but firm, I really liked it. This place might not only be for coffee nerds like me, most people actually come here for its food offerings. Next time I will definitely try some freshly made food.

Firstly, the coffee here is delicious. Although I believe that's completely subjective. What makes Root Coffee stand out is beautiful interior design, making staying for hours comfortable and easy, and friendly staff who are happy to give advice. They explained to me what Cascara is (I had no clue!).

Popped in to this place on visit to Liverpool to pick up new passport. Quiet nice place. Coffee was decent, no pastries though which was a bit disappointing

Tucked off the main drag, worth dipping into.to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Bold Street area. Light and airy space, uncramped and unclustered makes it relaxed even when busy. Coffee reasonably priced, cakes looked great. Well worth a look.

Their chai latte alone gets this place 5 stars and their coffee is really good as well. The food and cakes are also good and prices are reasonable. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff

Cozy place, Scandinavian style decor and very nice coffee! It also has some different style coffee such as pour over and nitro cold brew, which I haven't tried yet though. Cappuccino is really good.

It's a hidden gem in my eyes, but do search it out as they do brilliant food and even better drinks. Matcha latte, caramel cappuccino, and perfect breakfast tea.
