We really enjoyed our meal, especially the meaty king prawns and the the aubergine pakora. Our kiwi mocktails were deliciously refreshing and, even better, were 2-4-1 in the happy hour! A few dishes could have done with being a bit milder to my poor English palette, but we still managed to stuff ourselves. Service was mostly very good, though our drinks too a little time. The massive tray of condiments had a handy guide underneath each pot, telling you what each was. We had great fun trying them out. Will definitely be going back, especially as it's very convenient for the arena.

Took a risk as we hadn’t booked anything and arrived in Liverpool on Christmas Day. Accepted walk ins. Wait wasn’t long at all. Upon entry, the service was faultless. Lots of customers, place was packed Ordered lamb chops as a starter and baajis. The lamb chops were so tasty and flavoursome. Ordered a chicken Karahi and naan as well as a roti. Spot on! Finally, had a mango and strawberry lassi drinks which were really delicious. Someone was celebrating their birthday there and they brought out a drum which was different/cool. 🥳

We knew that it was more expensive than other Indian restaurants in the city, however we didn't think that it would be so expensive. We spent £90 for a meal that would normally cost around half of that. I had chicken biryani, and I got so much that I couldn't finish it (I'm not complaining!) My girlfriend had bombay aloo, which was too spicy for her. I enjoyed my food but my girlfriend not so much. The service, however, was excellent, especially from Abdul. The decor is nice. But I don't know if they can justify charging so much.

Please do read all review Atmosphere slight dipped on the star rating but only due to i did attend after 9pm on a monday and not alot og people in there so cant get true feel for athmosphere I cant put a 4 as slightly higher but not really a 5 due to 1 item The edge of the lettuce was starting to brown thats only change that voulf happen more fresh salad We had starters and main, if you are not hungry id advise share a meal Look at my photos starters are large porsions, chips and rice also large And the currys have alot of meat Which is all great i suspect most people take some home which they also allow So thumbs up for allowimg this I saw people say its expensive if say not really yes 20 for a starter is high but when u get 8 pieces of pakora or 4 large onion bhajis ots enough for 2 So only 10 each as a guide Do be aware of the popadoms wgere i go locally to my home co fiments are part of this, but here you get a pickle tray at 4.50 Its for sure a sharer pickle tray and fair price but just so you are aware Over all good service, staff are happy and polite worth a visit

Amazing Indian food in Liverpool, we found it by chance and it was the best Indian restaurant I have ever tried. I have never tasted a cheese naan like the one in this restaurant. All the food was great, the service is amazing.

Went in on spec as all other restaurants around the arena were full. Very professional and courteous service. Had poppadoms and tray of tasty chutneys etc to start. Then chicken livers to follow. Again very tasty but a huge portion. Likewise lamb sag balti. Can’t bear to leave food (too greedy) and so ended up eating too much. In a strange way I felt a bit cheated when the not inconsiderable bill arrived. Would’ve preferred smaller less expensive portions which is why I knocked a point off.

12 months ago me and my fiancé moved to Liverpool. Since then we have tried so many places to eat. There are some great options and we don't often go to the same place twice as we like to try new things. However, this is one place we will definitely visit again. We took our 11 month old baby and all the staff were amazing with her from the second we walked in. The staff were great all night to be honest. The decor of the place is amazing we loved it. It was chilled and relaxed. Got a bit busier as we left but everyone had a smile or a wave for our daughter we honestly had an amazing night. Most important was the food! Honestly we cannot say how impressed we were. We ended up stuffed and had to take a foggy bag. We didn't want to waste that amazing food. This will be a regular date night for us I think.

Definitely on the pricier side but the food is good. The karahi chicken was very tasty and the garlic naan was lovely and big enough for all the family to share. My only issue was that there was a private singing event going on upstairs and as it's not completely blocked off, it was very loud. You weren't able to have a conversation because of that and it was also too loud for my baby.

A really beautiful setting just off Liverpool docks. Ferris wheel in the background and a nice ambiance. Staff at restaurant are very polite and overall the food was good, however, took a very long time for starters to arrive. I got the Chapli Kebab which in all honesty wasn’t worth the wait but the main dishes were very good. I personally dislike the naan on antlers but I suppose a lot of restaurants have started to do this now.

We visited this restaurant during a recent visit to Liverpool. As we approached it, we thought it was going to be quiet as it is in a quieter area to Albert Dock but it wasn’t. The restaurant was busy but the tables are spaced well apart so you never feel that you are eating with another table! The entrance is impressive with a water feature and the overall ambience is welcoming, we were instantly eager to order our food! All the staff are very efficient and polite and courteous. The menu is easy to understand and varied, we had a variety of starters and mains and of course the essential poppadoms and chutneys to start. The cocktail menu is worth a mention too! Overall this restaurant is one of the best Indian meals we have ever had! Hope to revisit this restaurant again on another trip to Liverpool. Definitely highly recommended!

I went to Liverpool for a conference and wanted to try south Asian food, My experience with food is 50:50 as some hotels regardless of high reviews do not have the authentic taste and spending money for a bland taste makes an experience bad. I tried East Z East as a solo. The ambience was good and I got a seat to sit. My first impression of the menu was everything was expensive for 1 person, I understood serving will be for at least two people but they did not have an option for half serving. I bought Peshawari Lamb Gosht, and the taste was very good, it seemed like south Asian food and it was well cooked 5 stars, I took the leftovers home and we enjoyed it at home as well. I forgot to take a menu picture as the prices are revised and the available menu picture is old. They have some discounts for nearby hotels and NHS

This restaurant took me by surprise. Not expecting much but it turned out to be most enjoyable for me and all our group of 9 people. The food was excellent, tasty and hot. We took the silver set menu and there was something for everyone and more than enough, so even though some of us might not favour Indian food they got plenty of good dishes. The service was very good, positive and quick responses to every question and hand raised for service.

Had a brilliant meal here last night. Mixed starter, Lamb chops and chicken pakora were ace. Tandoori cod was out of this world as was the Jalfrezi sauce with lam byriani. Chicken korma and meat balti all great. Portion sizes are big so we have lots going home. AJ our waiter made our night he was very personable and fun. Great place highly recommend if you like a good Indian meal.

Poppadoms with eight different chutneys was very good to start. Had the chicken shashlick for main which the portion was generous. Service was very quick.
