Excellent service from friendly bar staff and probably the best pint of Stella in Liverpool....went to the W/spoons nearby and it was shite so came back to The Crown...the pub has made our visit to Liverpool an enjoyable one.

Jewel in the crown , loved looking at the crown as a little girl early fiftys , with my daddy on our way to my nins at Gerard gardens ! Like this pub very much ,, the ceiling and fittings ! Well they are just beautiful !! Glad no body's allowed to smoke in pubs now !!!! Imagine the damage it must've caused to this lovely historic pub ! Tea rooms ! I always imagine the Victorian women swanning up the spiral staircase for afternoon tea , with a window view over the motherland !! Great draught Guiness by the way !!! Lol

Having met up for our first date here it was only right that we had our wedding here too. So three years to the day of our first date we got married and went to The Crown for our wedding breakfast. To say the food was nice would be an injustice to the staff and a massive understatement. It was FANTASTIC. And those sundaes...... WOW! The staff are all amazing and the manager Neil is a top quality bloke. Very friendly and always happy to help. They went above and beyond what anyone and anywhere else would have and 5*s just isn't enough. Can't thank them enough and can't recommend them enough. Such a friendly atmosphere when just popping in for a pint too. Love them all and can't wait to go back again. Thank you so much

What a cracking breakfast with a large drink Less than £7 and better than the brekkie on Virgin and East Coast Virgin trains in 1st Class.

First stop after stepping out of Lime Street station. I’ll always visit TT’s Champion Club members, and lo and behold they had Landlord from cask (along with six others plus lots of other draft options). Quite a large space with an interesting history and plenty of Art Nouveau touches. Place was packed on Saturday night with England v Brasil playing a friendly. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed but they handled it well.

It was nice experience. Great pub better than others, great location at the corner of train station. Good selection of beers and reasonable price. Such nice atmosphere and love the ceiling and texture on stair red wall. sure I'm coming back again.

Fabulous old pub with some fantastic exterior window decor which has caught our eye many times. This was our first visit and we weren't disappointed by the architectural features inside as well as on the outside. Nice bar area with other rooms off, toilets were upstairs (awesome), spotlessly clean. Good prices for our regular drinks. Certainly a good place to call in if you're heading back to Lime Street Station for the journey home.

Smashing little pub with great architecture and lovely staff. The ham and cheese panninis we ordered came with fries, a homemade coleslaw and it was honestly one of the nicest lunches I've had in years - well worth the reasonable amount of money charged and far better value than Spoons. This is now my go to place when in town and need a bite.

Really handy for Lime Street Station and the hotel where we were staying. Decent Guinness. There was a football match on that night, Liverpool v Fulham, and the bar did get busy. Good atmosphere though and no problem getting served. Staff were spot on.

A lovely and welcoming pub built in 1905 with traditional features. The menu is lovely with reasonable prices and suitable for all ages. We had our money refunded for our meal due to waiting for so long but to be honest, we didn't mind. When the food came out, it was hot and fresh.

This is a very popular busy city pub with tons of character and amazing plasterwork designs on the ceiling's, it's close proximity to lime Street railway station makes it a must first port of call before we head into the city 😀 great choice of drinks and good staff make this pub an absolute winner 🏆
