First stop after stepping out of Lime Street station. I’ll always visit TT’s Champion Club members, and lo and behold they had Landlord from cask (along with six others plus lots of other draft options). Quite a large space with an interesting history and plenty of Art Nouveau touches. Place was pac
It was nice experience. Great pub better than others, great location at the corner of train station. Good selection of beers and reasonable price. Such nice atmosphere and love the ceiling and texture on stair red wall. sure I'm coming back again.
Fabulous old pub with some fantastic exterior window decor which has caught our eye many times. This was our first visit and we weren't disappointed by the architectural features inside as well as on the outside. Nice bar area with other rooms off, toilets were upstairs (awesome), spotlessly clean.
Lovely old pub, close to the train station We had a few gins before our train
Was in bank holiday Monday going home after a great weekend got to say lovely traditional pub. Food and drink amazing staff friendly recommended it to anyone
Smashing little pub with great architecture and lovely staff. The ham and cheese panninis we ordered came with fries, a homemade coleslaw and it was honestly one of the nicest lunches I've had in years - well worth the reasonable amount of money charged and far better value than Spoons. This is now
Really handy for Lime Street Station and the hotel where we were staying. Decent Guinness. There was a football match on that night, Liverpool v Fulham, and the bar did get busy. Good atmosphere though and no problem getting served. Staff were spot on.
A lovely and welcoming pub built in 1905 with traditional features. The menu is lovely with reasonable prices and suitable for all ages. We had our money refunded for our meal due to waiting for so long but to be honest, we didn't mind. When the food came out, it was hot and fresh.
After a family weekend in Liverpool we got told about this pub and never regretted it everything was fantastic food hot and wonderful.
This is a very popular busy city pub with tons of character and amazing plasterwork designs on the ceiling's, it's close proximity to lime Street railway station makes it a must first port of call before we head into the city 😀 great choice of drinks and good staff make this pub an absolute winner
