Everything that matters this place delivers... This German themed venue is great for drinks and food, especially when shopping in Liverpool as it's close to all the main shops but set back from the retail area, giving you a break from the shopping areas. Firstly, it's worth noting that this is much more than just a pub and food is very much the focus. We didn't eat as we had been for a meal elsewhere earlier in the day, however the Sunday menu looked great and we are looking forward to returning soon. There are several drinks options from German classics through to local favourites. The atmosphere was incredibly enjoyable and the live music act was very good and really entertaining. This is definitely going to be my go to drink after shopping at Liverpool from now on.... Love it

Came here on a whim for my birthday, as I was wearing a badge I was given a free glass of prosecco, and my fiance and I were given raspberry schnapps after the meal. The food and drink were amazing, the atmosphere was brilliant and the staff were just wonderful. Special thanks to Dorrie who was delightful. We had such a a lovely time and will definitely return when next in Liverpool!

Not too busy in the afternoon. Good place for a quiet pint, it has a good range of German beers but also a good selection of other beers behind the bar. The menu is also mainly German food, they do Cook Haus plates and sausages (wurst) I tried and recommend the currywurst.

A very popular German concept in the heart of Liverpool. This is a signal for peace everywhere - imagine! Very nice setting and friendly and cooperative staff. Sausages and chicken in pepper sauce was heavy meals and as German as expected. A good place to have a meal and some good offers for a long happy hour.

Albert's Schenke is such a nice bar. There's a staff member at the door to welcome you in and the setting and layout of the bar is excellent. They have lots of great beers on offer, from around the world and the UK. Prices are slightly higher than surrounding bars, but the service and quality of the beer make up for this. Our sever Kathryn was friendly and helpful and even though the bar was incredibly busy, she made sure we were looked after and had everything we needed.

Great place! Hubby and me just showed up and they managed to fit us in, great choice of beers and the food is lovely, had starters (forgot to take pics as too busy eating them) but the main course was delicious, will definitely visit again 😋, cost just under £60 with two drinks each

Had lunch on Saturday, great atmosphere especially the fire place in the center. Ordered currywurst platter but felt it wasn’t same as we had in Frankfurt, it said two sausages but actually it’s a full one cut into halves. There was only one lady at the bar taking orders and making drinks so we wait approx 30mins in the queue.

Staff are attentive and efficient, little mix up with the steaks but we were a large party so its an easy mistake and they still both enjoyed their meal before any one of them had noticed. Drinks were served quickly at the bar and the atmosphere is always lovely here. The food was amazing, I have never had a bad experience. I used to eat here with my foreign friends when they come visit Liverpool for the full english breakfast. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. I would prefer to have the option of pork schnitzel instead of chicken, but nonetheless the food was great. We had bratwurst, pretzel, burger and schnitzel. One of the few German food restaurants on Liverpool, will visit again given the chance.
