Ordered afternoon tea delivery for a group of 13 for a hen do. The teas were beautifully presented and all tasted great. Was also able to cater for coeliac which was great and tasted amazing. Would definitely recommend and will use again when next in Liverpool!

A lovely Mothers Day surprise was delivered yesterday - a special Afternoon tea for two. The selection of savouries, sandwiches , scones and cake was delightful and very much appreciated. We thank you for your excellence and wish you all the best for the future and the continuation of your business. We certainly hope to find you out and visit the cafe once the present troubles are past. Finally we add thanks to our Son-in-law, Chef Paul Askew of The Art School Restaurant who arranged the surprise Tea, but who had sadly had to close his own restaurant where we were due to celebrate Mothers Day.

I went with a group of 10 for afternoon tea for a birthday and engagement celebration. It was so easy to organise and Maria was extremely helpful and accommodating - even opening especially for us! The afternoon tea was lovely with a great selection of sandwiches, savouries, scones and cakes. The building they are in is amazing and they even got me a bouquet as a gift. I can't recommend Mrs Danvers enough. A hidden gem in a wonderful location! Thank you.

Had afternoon tea delivered 30th June for my birthday. The man who delivered the food wished me a happy birthday, which was a very nice touch. The food was excellent and plenty of it, sandwiches, pie, quiche, and plenty of cake.would definitely order again.

Well worth a visit! A short walk from the city centre and between Pier Head and Albert Docks is a Treasure of a cafe. It's at the corner of a beautiful old, now office block just down from James Street, which must have been a shipping building at one time (splendid inside). I'm on the way to the Isle of Man boat and have just finished the most delicious cooked (their small) breakfast of bacon, sausage, mushroom, egg and beans with a thick slice of brown toast and lovely (generous) pot of tea. There are lots of other choices for breakfast and simple choices for later in the day. The take away service is also very good value. The two ladies running it are really friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I've been before and will come again for sure!

Scones and tea were very good. Seating is dense. Closes at 2:30. Make reservations 24 hours in advance for high tea. Cozy space, friendly, chatty staff.
