A very cozy place located in Bold Street, very lovely, the pizza really nice, thin and crispy. Love desserts that served in there. Will go back to taste the pasta!
The gnocchi is delicious. The tiramisu is served in a bowl, which was odd and may have been why it was wetter than I'm used to. Service was friendly, if a bit distracted.
Good pizzas but service could be better.. Very nice for a lazy afternoon. It's a bit more expensive than other cafe food on Bold Street but the food is more like restaurant standard. The pizzas are good and ciabattas, paninis average. I've never had a problem getting a seat. The service is friendly but slightly incompetent - slow, unorganised and inattentive.
The star of this show was the Ossobuco, a classic dish done really well, it was a special that added perfectly to the limited standard menu. I was impressed with this meal, and very happy with what I had, a return journey is certainly in order. However, first I fancy a trip to the woods.
Lovely place with surprisingly high ceilings once you're inside. Not sure what it might have been originally as the back interior is quite ornate.
So cute looking from outside with what looks like original frontage.
The service was really welcoming and typically Italian.
Good choice on the menu so something for everyone.
Food was excellent, we all enjoyed what we ordered.
Lovely little place x
I often use shrimp as a starter. The prawn in this restaurant were rubbery. The sauce seems to be correct, the tomatoes are fresh, the pan is hot, but the taste is bad.
The 4 cheese pizza was good, but there was nothing but cheese, and they didn’t even add a basil leaf for decoration. It turned out lean.
But the lasagna was excellent, tasty, tender, with a slight sourness and sufficient spices. A hot plate and grated Parmesan completed the picture.
i genuinely have never had a better meal in my life. i felt a changed woman. the lasagna made me feel so satisfied with life that i would be happy with passing away. thank you so much.
What a place, walked past here for years and never ventured in, well so glad we have now, it won't be the last time we visit, the food was freshly cooked and very tasty all reasonably priced as well.
A little gem! Fabulous, tasty food, lovely friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back with the rest of our family
Excellent Italian food and great service. Would recommend you book in advance as it is busy, but we were very lucky to get a table as we arrived as it opened on a Saturday lunchtime. Food was really tasty and the portions are large, so make sure you are hungry! Have added to our list to return to when we next visit Liverpool
Favourite place to eat in Liverpool, food is amazing and staff are so friendly!
Absolutely fantastic food & busy atmosphere. The building is well lit, but not overly bright. Service was outstanding. My only minor gripe is the restaurant is pretty compact, which means depending on where you sit, you might find it a squeeze.
If you love Italian food, this is an unmissable restaurant; if you're meh about Italian food this will convert you I promise! Staff friendly and attentive. The restaurant interior is light and airy, felt like we were on holiday. The authentic food is to die for. The portions are large and full of flavour. Highly recommended!
Came in for a quick drink and bite to eat. Food, drinks and service were lovely. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with lots of street photography framed around the walls - though I was pretty upset to find a huge canvas with AI generated art in the toilets. It looks cheap and tacky, and comes across as a poor taste addition in amongst the real, human-made artwork. Pay for real art, don’t get it generated by a machine!
