The Railway - Liverpool - Photo album

This was a bit of an emergency stop as it was a Sunday evening and dinner was required but so many kitchens were closed. And I missed Sunday Roast across town. Big mistake. Anyway, the kitchen here was very close to being closed so I likely got the scraps from leftovers but still no excuse. Very dis
Been coming here for many decades and it's not changed a bit. That's the way most of the customers like it. Good selection of food and drink and a nice place to spend an afternoon. I normally go here in the afternoons as I've found that it can get a bit full of an evening.
I can't wait to go back. Everything was excellent! So good, I went twice in 5 days!
One of the best authentic pubs in Liverpool City Centre. The service is always very friendly and the food is top quality for a price that gives Wetherspoons a run for their money.
Arrived 10 mins before the kitchen was due to close but the staff were amazing and said they'd cook us whatever we wanted. The food was phenomenal along with the service. Top work
Amazing Sunday lunch - 3 courses for £15!! Service, food and atmosphere are second to none. Love the beauty and elegance of this stunning pub. Food was served quickly, hot and fab portions, as well as quality and well presented. Will be back again very soon. Many many thanks!!
Visited on a Thursday afternoon - seat yourself and order at the bar. Ordered a couple beers, scouse, onion rings, nachos, and halloumi wrap. With the exception of the nachos (we're used to California quality nachos, haha) - everything was delicious! My husband loved the Scouse and dipped onion rin
I stubbed upon this gem of a pub. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff. They will make sure you’re catered to. All are welcome and most of all they do steak on Wednesdays 3pm - 8pm. It’s was soo good, I couldn’t finish it all 😅. Go here. Eat and enjoy. P.s. they ran out of wine glasses 🍷
Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Cider choice was limited, but good. Main (railway burger) was AMAZING! Chips beautifully seasoned, and onion rings crispy and fresh. Pudding was a touch disappointing in comparison, but not bad.
This 5 star review is for the kitchen on Saturday 16th March. Your food was reasonably priced and taisted delicious. Beef and ale pie veg and chips washed down with a pint of larger.......perfect!
It was really good.. service and Musik was amazin
A very cosy pub with great cask ales, delicious traditional food and really friendly staff. The prices are also very affordable.
Called in unbooked for a Sunday lunch with our cousins from Barcelona who had seen good Trip Advisor reviews.. We were not disappointed and we were seated straight away... we were served by George who welcomed us to the Railway and took our drinks order straight away... 3 course meal was chosen STAR
We loved the Sunday lunch! ❤️ The atmosphere is beautiful, very British experience.
