Been coming here for many decades and it's not changed a bit. That's the way most of the customers like it. Good selection of food and drink and a nice place to spend an afternoon. I normally go here in the afternoons as I've found that it can get a bit full of an evening.

One of the best authentic pubs in Liverpool City Centre. The service is always very friendly and the food is top quality for a price that gives Wetherspoons a run for their money.
Arrived 10 mins before the kitchen was due to close but the staff were amazing and said they'd cook us whatever we wanted. The food was phenomenal along with the service. Top work

I stubbed upon this gem of a pub. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff. They will make sure you’re catered to. All are welcome and most of all they do steak on Wednesdays 3pm - 8pm. It’s was soo good, I couldn’t finish it all 😅.

This 5 star review is for the kitchen on Saturday 16th March. Your food was reasonably priced and taisted delicious. Beef and ale pie veg and chips washed down with a pint of larger.......perfect!

A very cosy pub with great cask ales, delicious traditional food and really friendly staff. The prices are also very affordable.
Called in unbooked for a Sunday lunch with our cousins from Barcelona who had seen good Trip Advisor reviews.. We were not disappointed and we were seated straight away... we were served by George who welcomed us to the Railway and took our drinks order straight away...
