We went last Sunday 10th March for Mother's Day. Food was fresh, tasty and wonderful as always. The roast lamb and beef dinners are outstanding. Service was impeccable.....friendly and professional with all food coming out piping hot. We visit here often as it's such a gem.
Love this place - open Thursday to Sunday (Sunday only roast dinner menu). Lovely setting and varied menu (lots of little plates usually 2 per person needed) and mains, desserts and specials available. All delicious 😋
It was my second visit. I really appreciated the artisanal (somewhat modernised, but it is perfectly fine) food, their freshness and the diversity of the ways in which the ingredients are used for creating different foods. Both the small plates (probably 4 for two people) and the large plates are attractive. The service is truly excellent, polite, involving.
The only shortcoming (in my view) is the limited number of wines per glass.
Booking in advance is strongly recommended.
Great little find. Lovely bistro, nice staff and delicious food. Very reasonably priced too. The house wine was so delicious, we bought another bottle to take home! We'll definitely visit again.
Had our first visit to this fantastic bistro last week, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. The place has a very relaxed homely vibe, highly recommend a visit.

We did the Sunday lunch, too much for me but top class for a roast dinner with choice of meats, condiments etc. Starters big too and a great choice. We will return for the a la carte mid week. The staff were excellent.
Went for Sunday dinner, it was beyond my expectations and I had heard only good things. Really nice staff and roast potatoes like nowhere else.
Lovely place, quite small so need to book.
The menu changes regularly so don't expect your favourite meal to be on the menu when you return.
Really reasonable prices.
