Overall a very pleasant experience ! The staff were friendly from the moments we came in until we were leaving. Very attentive , funny and easy going. We didn't felt rushed at all and the overall meal was very relaxed.
Food vise - the p meze platters were delicious, good to share between 3-4 people. For starters I've tried the goats cheese, and it was very tasty , especially the chutney that came with it. Be warned, the soup portions are pretty big :p
For main I got the ratatouille for which I was already excited when looking at pictures on TripAdvisor. Unfortunately it was a bit of a let down. The portion was quite small for a main and I think it was played different to usual , it also seemed to miss some courgettes on top. Other than that it was very flavoursome, especially the pesto (wish there was more on it ) . The fish and chips looked incredible, the curry dusted chips (slightly undercooked) were yummy and the presentation was on point. Desserts - we couldn't fit much in but managed to share the Glasgow mess between 3 of us. It's amazing !
Overall with definitely be back ! Really chilled and friendly place with nice cocktails , food and amazing staff who all worked really hard.
We had an outstanding time at Clockworks the environment was great the waiter was very friendly and the food was outstanding would go there over and over again loved it
Stopped in for lunch and a quick beer for my first ever visit here. Noticed that the menu features lots of breakfast options so jumped right in on a full breakfast and was not disappointed. Food was delicious and nice sized portions and service was excellent and included table service. Nice low lighting giving a relaxing ambiance and lots of exposed brickwork. Not the biggest range of draft beer especially craft but did find one that worked for me. Will definitely return especially for another breakfast.
Went there on bank holiday Monday. Waiters were very friendly and helpful, yet still laid back. Food was excellent. The pie is great value. Portions are generous. I had the Glasgow mess to myself, not realising it's a sharing dish! It was beautifully presented. Included deep fried Mars bar and Snickers. Just about managed to finish with help from my family since it was so delicious but would recommend sharing. Soft drinks are reasonably priced.
An absolute outstanding place. Staff were very friendly, wonderful atmosphere and decor. We had their Sunday Roast, one of the best I've ever had, at first it didn't look too much but oh how it hits the spot just right. And the dessert, proper thick and fluffy pancakes with Nutella and strawberries. All absolutely delicious, will absolutely be returning one day.
Recently visited for my wife's birthday breakie. The food was unreal, possibly the best breakfast in Liverpool. Bold claim I know, but honestly it was delicious. Staff were boss too, very friendly chatty waiter, great service.
On our previous visit to Liverpool, we visited Clockworks for brunch, we were thoroughly impressed, as the pancakes here are amazing! The status quo still remains as we cannot fault the staff or the food here, we ordered a different style of pancakes this time, both arrived promptly and are priced at £10 each.
The staff are lovely and the place does get busy throughout the day as this is a popular venue known for its good food.

Great place. Will come back for more steampunk style resto. One the best full English breakfast I'd ever had.
Really great breakfasts - couldn't fault mine to be fair. I don't eat black pudding so it's missing from the plate.
The weakest element was the potato rosti, everything else was good quality ingredients and cooked to perfection.
Everyone enjoyed theirs, with cleared plates all round.
Great chilled vibe (at least during the day) with friendly and very capable staff - the cocktails were very well executed with proper balance.
Also great music I pilfered a few of the selection for my holiday playlist!
Food is good, but not as good as I thought it was going to be from the reviews.
Mildy disappointed, because I was expecting something great, not just good.
Stay away from the gluten free, vegan free desserts, one we tried was dry, the other claggy.
The team are incredibly friendly and professional, the chef even came to apologise for the desserts. Dating he knew they where not great, and explaining how difficult it is to make vegan and gluten free desserts... We are not vegan or gluten free, they are 2/3rds of the desert menu options.
Nice bar and venue, I would definitely go back for a drink.
I must also mention, that they had a young lad playing a guitar and singing for atmosphere... Really talented, and a really nice touch.
Clockworks has to be one of my favourite places to get breakfast. We always take people here when we have visitors from out of the city. With its industrial interior mixed with a steampunk feel, Clockworks is a very clean, welcoming and well located bar, almost hidden out of the way in the same square the Cream Club was. The food is absolutely fantastic, when we went one of the breakfast items wasn't ready yet, so they changed it to something else which worked really well, it came out quick and it's reasonably priced. Portions were very generous and staff were very friendly. Worth a visit for the door knocker alone.
Absolutely beautiful experience. very quick and friendly service.
Large portions. Lovely cocktails. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recomend.
