Amazing food all around. Steaks were very well cooked, waffle and eggs, mashed sweet potatoes are a must. To drink try the coconut cherry crush! Amazing!!!! Dessert both the green apple and bread pudding were exceptional. Would recommend to everyone traveling through to stop here.

After seeing other great reviews we decided to book the cowshed as we love our steak. We were staying down the road at the ropewalks hotel so easy walking distance. Had the greedy cow and it did not disappoint. Service could have been a bit quicker but could see the staff had to keep going up and down the stairs for everything as it's set over several floors. Steak cooked perfectly, medium rare.

This was an excellent experience. We went here on a Friday night to celebrate a 30th birthday. The food was priced reasonably and was very tasty. It came out quickly. The staff very kindly brought out complimentary ice cream and birthday shots which was very much appreciated. I’d definitely come back here!

Fantastic find, amazing food and excellent service, staff very friendly. Small menu but very well cooked. We had the greedy cow, plenty for 2 people, nice bottle of wine. Will definitely be going back when in Liverpool

I was visiting Liverpool for the first time, and my husband booked the Cowshed. It was phenomenal - best steak I've ever had. I can't wait to go back in the future. Or even better if they open a restaurant in the northeast.

We loved the rustic ambiance. The food was amazing! I opted for the steak from their special menu and was pleased I did as it was lovely. Best steak I've had so far. My husband had the ribeye steak which he enjoyed as well. I also loved the long island iced tea which they were happy to serve when I asked for it as it was not on their menu. thank you and we'll definitely come back again!

Amazing place for steak, cooked to perfection. We had the sharing platter for two of ribeye, rump and flat iron. Both peppercorn and bbq sauce was lovely and paired the steak and fries nicely. Will definitely be back and recommend to other to have a try.

Very nice steaks Drinks: Sauvignon Blanc, El Picador 12.5% 250ml £7.80 Starters Fried Sesame King Prawns £9.25 Main: Ribeye 8oz £19, Served medium rare Additional Starter: Biltong & Jerky cured beef 4.10 25g Dessert: Cheescake: No price, but its got Oreo's in it 😍 Food was delicious and ambience on first floor was really good, very intimate feel. I'm coming back. Side note: Take a look at the artwork, really cool pictures. For example Ghostbusters 2 Vigo, but with cows head, nostalgia through the roof, nice touch. We'll Done team well ✔️ 👍

Arrived into Liverpool Friday afternoon for a city break and my wife had booked this restaurant as it was my birthday. Menu (starters) are limited, Seasme Prawns nice but nothing special. Had the steak special “Greedy Cow”. Very good quality meat & great cooking.Carrots & onion side excellent, portion of chips for two small & only one zero alcohol offering. Service was very good.

Simply the best. Steak cooked to PERFECTION 😍 I have dreamed of this since going here last week, next time I am in Liverpool I will be back. Would 10/10 recommend the red wine gravy and BBQ bourbon sauce, absolutely divine
