Great food, great service, great cocktails. Plus a tree through to the first floor. Very good value early bird two course deal.
Basic Mexican Food.
La Parrilla is located in the middle of Bold Street and has been in Liverpool for a number of years and I finally decided to try it for lunch with my friends.
I went on a Sunday afternoon and they offer an ‘early bird menu’ which runs between 12pm-6pm on a Sunday.

The service was attentive and quick. The portions were of good size (we went for the large tapas lunch option... 3 of the large plates are more than enough food).

Authentic Mexican cuisine, though it didn't stand out as particularly special to me. The menu featured classic Mexican dishes that one might expect, but there wasn't anything distinctive that set it apart from other Mexican restaurants I've visited.

My wife and I went here for a late lunch, and we loved it. The staff were very welcoming, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was fun with the upbeat music and Mexican decor. The portions were so big, we had to get some of our main meals boxed up to take home. Just reheated
Amazing food for amazing price and quantity. The food is halal. We ordered their famous chicken fajitas along with enchiladas. The food was mild spicy but can be pretty spicy if your spice tolerance is low. 🌶️🥵

It's not often that I get the opportunity to write about a great Mexican restaurant because I've been to so many run of the mill ones, but La Parrilla is absolutely fantastic.
The portion sizes are probably the best thing about this place, and there is a definite value for money here. Additionally
Fabulous Mexican restaurant in a vibrant part of town. It has a huge menu with plenty of different options and lots for vegetarians. I had nachos and a chimichanga. Both were so delicious and the potion sizes are humongous, we even took some home. The staff are a delight, very friendly and helpful.
Was a great stop off for us as a family 3 adults had 3small and 3 large from the tapas 2 kids meals and side each for the smalls.
Was more than happy with the portions sizes and the chilli cheese balls some of best I’ve had yet! Could have come back if we had more time but defo will be visiting agai
Food was really good, so were the drinks / cocktails.
I found the menu to be a little confusing though, there's a lot going on and was challenging to figure out what was included in the specials deals. Definitely not rocket science, but making it a bit more consumer friendly could help everyone :)

I don't often eat Mexican, so La Parrilla was a relatively new dining experience for me.
Food here tasted decent, served nice and warm, with authentic ingredients and flavours. However, I did feel quite stodgy and congested towards the end. Maybe that's just Mexican food, I'm not sure!

Excellent food- best Mexican food we've had, great selection to chose from, portion sizes very big. Cocktails were delicious. Service was great. Would highly recommend x
Food was nice - flavours were okay I wouldn't say it is authentic cuisine but it definitely settles your cravings for mexican food. The everest nachos are very good, flavours were very balanced. Cocktails were very expensive in my opinion but very nice if you are looking to just try 1.
Fantastic authentic Mexican. Huge delicious portions. The ambience was lovely and the staff very welcoming and friendly. Very inexpensive for what we had too. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic place! The food was delicious ! We loved the decorations and atmosphere inside , real Mexican feeling :) Service was spot on ! This place is not too pricey but the food and portions of it are definitely satisfying . We'll be definitely back for more !
