We went for afternoon tea and it was the best I have ever had. The host was incredible, checking if we needed any top ups etc throughout. The cakes were all home made and were delicious - the homemade rhubarb jam was my favourite! I am a vegetarian and was catered to without an issue. The icing on the cake (literally!) was the birthday cake she supplied. Which was both delicious and gorgeous! We were offered to take away what we couldn’t eat in boxes. The shepherds hut is decorated so sweetly and everything was clean, plus the views here are absolutely unmatched. Definitely recommend 🥰 10/10
The most delicious afternoon tea in a totally unique and beautiful setting. All hand made by Ann with a great deal of skill, pride and love. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. ps That is not a picture on the wall of the shepherds hut- it’s the stunning view!
Although this place was out of the way on google maps, it was simple enough to find. The food was spectacular, the service even better, I couldn’t fault the hosts in any way, they’re both are warming and welcoming, with regular check ups if we needed any top ups for tea or coffee, I felt like I’d known them years, they catered to my vegetarian partner with no issue, and supplied some adorable extra birthday treats. I couldn’t recommend them more, it was the best afternoon tea I’ve ever had, they deserve more recognition. Thank you!
Went as a family group for Father's Day. Beautiful setting, fantastic food with a good mix of sweet and savoury treats. Lovely hosts who were attentive but not intrusive. Would thoroughly recommend a visit. Thank-you so much. It was incredible value. We came away with leftovers!

Everything was delicious but I was beaten. Thankfully the hosts were prepared with a box to take away our leftovers.
