Food was hot. Tables clean. Dumb touch screens disgusting! I literally hate touching those things. Greasy finger marks all over them. Then it jammed the printer and i didnt see the order number on screen so had to find a very helpful staff member who did sort it. He did clean the screen also but this should have been done before someone used it
The other machines were the same! Disgusting screen surfaces!!!

What can you say? You know the menu. You know the standard of food... its not fine dining but it's dependable and tasty. Its not for every day but once in a while just forget the calories.
Thank you to the two customer care people (sorry, no name badges but it was elderly gentleman and a lady with reddish hair) who were very kind and understanding. The order was mixed up as I got a Macmuffin with bacon in it and I eat plant-based and the hash brown was a tad dry. My partner enjoyed his bacon one and an extra hamburger patty. The gentleman said we should have alerted him as he would have given us new ones but all in all, clean quiet restaurant, fastc service, all self-service machines worked and there is an outside area for "the naughty corner" ie people who vape or smoke or just want to sit outside on a bench. Highly recommended. Menu extensive and easy to deal with self-service touchscreens. Thanks everyone!
The food is good, your average McDonald's food. The most notable thing about this McDonald's is that it isn't well laid out. It can get very busy and so you can get caught up in big queues for the drive thru instead of being able to park up and go in and order.
I won't lie, I'm not a fan of McDonalds. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.
The plant based Big Mac was actually really nice and we got great customer service from a very tall young man (sorry, forgot the name.)
We always visit this place due to comfort and easy accessibility. There is plenty of parking as well. Food is served as per standard McDonald's menu, of course. It is always a very busy atmosphere, especially between 1230 to 2pm. You have to prepare to queue for 30 minutes. Staff are always happy to help. You can always order online, though, so you can collect them on arrival.
Typical McDonald's, delivery's take priority over restaurant customers , ice cream made upon order on screen and a melted mess bybthe time the 20+ orders infront have been processed, also order is claimed ready almost instantly but still have to wait 10+ minutes , obviously making this look like they are more efficient for internal auditing for customer processing !

I am a previous employee at this store. And I have to say that I agree with all of your reviews but….
The main complaints I have read should not be blamed on general staff and crew. The problems all begin from head office. And the customers.
1. We are one of the busiest stores in the south coast and also the smallest. So when there are cars flooding out to the A27 and your still coming in to get food and you wonder why it’s taking so long I would say the problem lies not only with you but the store needs to be bigger with more staff.
2. Yes we are close most nights/ early mornings because there are hardly any overnight staff to run the store you need minimum 4 people on an overnight to keep the store open. Most of the time we only have 1-2 people so they close the store and clean. A fix to this problem would be to have more staff obviously but McDonald’s head office made the decision to lower the overnight pay rate so it’s not as interesting for future employees.
3. If you order on the Uber eats or a delivery company. You’re lazy. And what person would order a macies to your door as it gets cold in 2 minutes anyway. I understand ordering pizza but McDonald’s just isn’t worth it because ice cream melts and thin fries get cold. Simple. If there are items missing it’s usually down to the driver not taking all of your food or just grabbing it over the counter before it’s finished. Also they are all ways late !
4. Yes the store does get dirty because it’s so so so busy and there arnt enough staff to be let off to clean outside and lobby.
So yes there are lots of problems with the store and I’m not wanting to defend it but there’s lots of fingers pointing at the wrong people and we get a lot of verbal and physical abuse from customers which puts off employees and for what a banana milkshake! :)
(P.s. adding on from the milkshake comment yes we run out of milkshake base because it’s so popular and we get deliveries for it almost everyday but it just gets sold out so quickly and there isn’t enough room to store more you also have to wash and clean the machine everyday and there is always no one to do it)
