Fantastic pub - a must-visit for anyone who likes beer or wants to visit one of the few remaining traditional English pubs! I think food is only served on Sundays but it's a great place for a drink and chat, 5 minutes walk from the sea front

Good local pub, nice covered courtyard/smoking area with seats and tables. Both inside and out has a cosy feel to it. Not a bad selection of beers/ales too.
Stopped in by chance on a visit. What a lovely pub. Good friendly service from the bartender, good selection of beers and a fantastic covered garden out the back. Can highly recommend

Rather dubious initially as we were a party of 12 making a last minute booking for Sunday lunch on Mothering Sunday - this was the only place that could accommodate and when we got there the place was almost empty... so you wonder why! Shouldn't have worried - lovely service, they put us in our own
