Amazing lovely foods and people, we loved the liver pate so much! Something very special about it..smooth, deep flavour, good harmony with red onion chutney. And lamb shank was also great, soft and tender at the same time with delicious gravy and Yorkshire pudding. Highly recommended!

Lovely friendly pub / restaurant. Highly recommend booking if wanting to eat here. We had a lovely meal on Sunday. Freshly cooked food. No ding meals here....The steak ale & mushroom pie was tasty. Even if it only had a puff pastry top. The cheese board had a nice selection of cheeses. highly recom
Absolutely fantastic eating experience. They were able to attend to my wife's needs of dairy and gluten free food. On both occasions that we visited. Even allowing her to bring her own pudding. Excellent service and Doombar on pump. Thoroughly recommended. A genuine family run pub.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with the family. We eat out a lot and have to say this was really up there. The roast beef was beautiful and the sticky toffee was by far the best ever! Fantastic service friendly and attentive. A definite 5 star and perfect for when staying at the caravan site up the road!
Enjoyed a new year's eve meal here. Very good food, nice selection to choose from. Friendly staff made us feel very welcome.
