Pub by the Arun- when you book a table ask for a river view- although make sure tide is in!
Very welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. We bought our dog along and they provided a bowl of water for her where we were sitting. Only down side is that you can’t sit with dogs with river view.

Great location. Good food. Excellent service. Clean bathrooms. Plenty of parking. The view over the river is spectacular, but one needs to reserve to get a table with great view. The whitebait was very good. Pasta was slightly overcooked. The seabream was very good and the sauce especially yummy.

Went for a meal on spec. The place was very busy, but the staff fitted us in ( 5 adults, 2 children & 3 small dogs.

Had a lovely overnight stay at this very friendly Inn. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Had a drink on the terrace before dinner, which was good. An added bonus was a fantastic band played in the evening, wonderful atmosphere and lots of people dancing. Room was clean and large, although was up
Can't comment on the rooms here as we all Came here for a dinner & I must say we all enjoyed what we had. I personally had the steak medium Rare cooked to perfection I'd definitely return for another meal if I'm ever in the area again.

Great pub, food is excellent and service is friendly. Always a good idea to book as it's a busy pub. You never feel rushed and you also have a good view of the river while you eat. They have quite a bit of parking but this does fill up at busy times though I always seem to get a space.
Food was excellent, had the three course menu with friends, the chilli chicken starter was a table favourite followed by exceptional fish and chips! Polite attentive service can't fault the place.

Although car parking is available on site, it can be difficult to find a space during peak hours.
We stayed here on a two day mini break, (Buy a Gift , given as an Anniversary gift during lockdown, and finally been able to use it)... We had room No.4, lovely veiw of river.... very clean, tea and coffee making, clean towels everyday... even a hairdryer!, lovely , friendly staff, thoroughly recomm
Lovely food, very good service, beautiful view of the river. Just a bit loud when it's crowded, but does quieten down as evening goes on.
