Food is great and love the menu for dogs.My only gripe is that I couldnt leave a tip due to paying by card.Surely a tip can be added and given to staff in cash as i rarely take cash with me when going for a meal.

Went yesterday for an evening meal, along with my son and granddaughter. They were very accommodating to my granddaughters requests, she had cheesy pen pasta, followed by a "special ice cream sundae". The food was good, and came out nice and quick, and, the waiting staff, although young, were very polite, and efficient. Olivia wanted to go again today!!! LOL. X

Cruising the Rochadale Canal, this pub was heaven sent. Good food and beer, they welcomed our (rather large) dog, and it was only a few minutes walk from our moorings. I will return by road!

Was quiet, thank god, we were greeted with a smile, chose a table, and ordered after a bit, food was quite nice, felt really as advertised home cooked, should be a nice place to enjoy outside in the summer. Prices are fair.

Really good food and quality. The burgers are lovely and the homemade steak pie was rich and, tasty. The portion sizes were all you could ask for. Very affordable prices and local beers.

Enjoyed a very nice meal at the Summit whist waiting for the water level in the canal to rise. Beautiful views of the local scenery from their outdoor terrace. Many dog walkers as their policy is very dog friendly.

Home cooked food with generous portion. We ordered hot sandwich, double burger and 2 drinks a total bill came just less than £25 for two. Friendly service and made us feel welcome. Nice outside sitting area and lovely location. We definitely be back soon.

Called in on the off chance for lunch after a long drive. The pub was quite traditional with some locals and hill walkers. Good menu with vegetarian options available. Main with a soft drink for around £11.

Friendly and very well managed. Well kept cask beer, and a decent range of reasonably priced, good quality pub food. The gravy which comes with the beef ciabatta is especially good! Options for vegetarians are more limited in choice though. (Photo is not representative of portion size because it was very tasty and I started eating before remembering to photograph it.)

Came in with my partner for fathers day and was treated to the best steak and ale pie,the biggest and crispiest onion rings I've ever seen. The service was amazing and the cask beer was really well kept. We will definitely be back again soon.

I can't recommend the summit Inn highly enough for food drink and a warm welcoming atmosphere, The landlord was welcoming and his staff were attentive and knowledgable about the menu items, after coming here for a meal I won't be going to another chain anytime soon the food was just as well priced but the portions miles better ... quality too 👌 Normally we have one or two drinks with our meals when we came this Saturday gone we stayed till late. Can't wait until our next date night we will be back. Thanks guys

Lovely pub in a really lovely setting by the canal. Staff could not be any more helpful and friendly than they were. The greeting was lovely and they made our little pooch very welcome with water and treats available. First class afternoon with great food and drink at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻
