Love the place and ambiance. Staff was really friendly. A bit sad that when we went, a few of their menu items were not available. We went there for dinner on a Saturday night. The food we ordered was good.
Just stopped by to meet someone, so not my local! Roast stops at 5pm, and I arrived at nearly 6pm. Having enquired if they had anything left, as hadn’t eaten all day, they were kind enough to rustle up some roast potatoes. That was a top effort in my book! Thank you
Beef was very tough, not alot of meat and only 3 roast pots, one girl working on her own on a Sunday lunch, so slow to order, no one asked if the meal was OK- wouldn't rush back
Fab place, landlady very friendly and Douglas (or Duncan) the resident dog who knows not to go on the carpet, no matter how often you call him. Went just before lockdown no. 2 for dinner, food was lovely and very good atmosphere. The pub is out of the way, we were staying round the corner so walked
Lovely pub we found on the of chance , What a lovely place and the food was very good ,the peroni is also spot on
Lovely pub, great food, lovely people, brilliant garden and outside bar, table tennis table, cricket and dart board all outside, covered seating with a lovely outside fire and a bbq, what more could you want
It's nice pub.
Wow what a difference… visited in 2020 and it was ok, visited today for a spontaneous lunch and was pleasantly surprised Lad behind bar very warm, friendly and welcoming but also genuine too which is sometimes hard to find (wasn’t over the top). We ordered food and it was cooked to a brilliant stand
Very friendly pub, nice staff, dog friendly with good food. What's not to like!
Amazing Sunday lunch and super friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this pub. We had three young children with us, and we still had an enjoyable lunch 😂 We will definitely return. Thank you!
Popped in for a spot of lunch for 2. Excellent service, and the sharing menu done us proud. Loverly atmosphere. Will defo go back
Great pub. Food is lovely and very welcoming by all the staff members. The pub is dog friendly but divided into two areas one of which dogs arnt allowed. Okay area for children in the large garden also a garden bar for the summer this is definitely worth a visit. I shall be back !!!!
Good food very tasty.
Lovely pub with good food. It has been built up to cater for all ages from youngster to older generation Only downside is the car park which has holes etc. If the car park was fixed it would be a perfect watering hole that has good food. Then a 5 star rating
