Visited the course for a round and to check out a potential membership, found the 18 hole course to be lovely with some superb holes & various challenges, I can imagine it plays really well on a sunnier day.
Food, drinks & access to the onsite gym are very reasonably priced & the members very friend
Finally this course is starting to get back to what it was, still more work required on the greens, all in all a decent test of your golf for a municipal, need to do food again instead of just pasties and pies in the clubhouse after a round
Very challenging long golf course, never lost so many golf balls on a fairway before, needs them cutting and the cut grass removed
Very good municipal course and very friendly club house. There is a membership scheme and there is a Woosnam Golf Academy on site.

Great coarse good challenge some greens need attention but will deffo play again there

Had an enjoyable round. Quite a quiet morning on the course. An excellent track to get back into the swing of things for the new year. Great value for money.
altered my review as there has been some work done on the course and its much better than our 1st visit. Some greens still need bit TLC. But overall is a challenging course .....too many dog walkers letting there dogs just run about and playing on greens , probably why there not 100%. I dont mind t
Went there with a band for a private party. Nice venue excellent for the band with space for dancing. Staff very pleasant and helpful, drink prices very reasonable, all in all a good venue for a party. Food was provided but not sure if the club supplied that or an external caterer.

Course in very good condition for April, greens good but some tees and some bunkers need work ie sand in. could also do with some yellow stakes to identify hazards which is an easy fix these few things would present the course to a better standard. overall had a good day and the course is a good

Outdoor space was great having a drink over looking the course great prices too.
Only one thing I didn't give a 5 star rating for is it needs some TLC a paint job is required internally and externally and some maintenance is needed. other than that great.
Went to watch the footy. Venue was very good, ample screens. Prices were excellent, staff were first rate. loads of room. Toilets clean, bar area perfect. Hot food available. The new team have put alot into it, and it shows. Only problem was the kids. Most people watch footy in bars, to get away fr

First visit for Sunday Lunch. Have to say could not fault. Homemade cooking to a tee. Carvery choice of 3 meats generous slices . All veg. Fresh and scummy Gravy. Topped off with Homemade Apple crumble with Custard. Outstanding value. Like mama used to make. Give it a try
