Such a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is welcoming, the menu had many delicious offerings and food was excellent! Way beyond typical pub fare… a gourmet experience inside of a charming historic building in a charming historic village. Great for lunch or dinner!
Went for a nice meal after work whilst we still had the sun. We had the fish of the day and the lamb which was delicious. Special shout out to the anchovies in the nibbles selection.... to die for.

What a beautiful little pub. We have driven past so many times and have always said we should go. This is possibly our new favourite Oxford pub! The setting was beautiful, the pub adorable, the food incredible and the host and staff were so welcoming. We can't wait to come back very soon!
