Took my boy for a Sunday roast, food was cooked from fresh and served hot. Good quality cuts of meat and the veg cooked to perfection in my opinion also did not have to wait very long which is always a bonus. The pub has a good atmosphere and the owners/staff are very polite and accommodating. Will
We’ve been staying here a few times this summer. The pitches are large and the facilities modern and clean. The pub is welcoming, clean and stocked with a good variety of beer, ales and spirits. We’ve eaten here many times and can highly recommend the menu. Favourite dishes have to be the Black Pidd
Loved the food and dessert. Great place to grab some food and drinks with friends or family. Ordered bangers&mash, cottage pie and fish&chips. All of them were great and the staff were absolutely sweet. It was also very close to our camping site.

Dropped into the Shrewsbury Arms for an afternoon whilst staying at the camping site up the road. Ash and the team were really welcoming - it was our first visit, but it felt like we'd been going in for years! Highly recommend the steak and stout pie too!
Fabulous pub, great friendly staff, wonderful beer, nice beer garden, proper cutlery (not cheep light weight items), fantastic food with great service, very dog friendly (well behaved dogs), definately coming back Mark and Jeannette Cumbria

The pastry was really buttery and blew us away, honestly the best pie we’ve ever had! The chips were chunky and cook
