Hurlers Halt - Liskeard - Photo album

Lovely cuppa and a snack. Great service, friendly and welcoming owner who likes a chat and a laugh. Traditional tea room with plenty of seating inside or out. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again. 😊
A lovely little find following a walk in the local area. Yes, it is a tad 'old fashioned', but sometimes it's best to go back to basics! The cream tea was just scrumptious, with warm scones and the owner was friendly and fun! Can recommend if you're in the area.
Absolutely amazing experience on New Years Day 2022. Brilliant sense of humour from the lovely couple who run the Hurlers Halt, very tasty food and great location. Would definitely recommend a visit or two! Also loved the comedy on the walls in the loo! Best restaurant I have visited in a long time.
A very warm and friendly welcome from the owner, made us laugh and is a great host. Very good menu selection for veggies and food and drinks were excellent. Lovely place, will definitely return.
Just had sandwiches and cream tea here, it was gorgeous. Nicely filled sandwiches, with some crisps and salad and the cream tea was beautiful, soft slightly warmed scone so moistz ample jam and cream. Thanks so much, lovely owners.
Great place to pause after a trek through the moors! Their jacket potatoes are delicious and fluffy, and the apple pie was super tasty. Great customer service too, the chap that runs this place is a great laugh!
Lovely 'tea break' at the Hurlers Halt before our 'hike' to the Cheese Rings. Proprietor was somewhat of a comedian 🤣 and oh so helpful - we had a tyre puncture and he gave me the contact details of someone in Liskeard who sorted us out. Thank you!
Fab place. Popped in here after a walk up to The Cheesewring stones. We were met by the owner who gave our hands a complementary squirt of hand sanitiser ✋ followed by a joke😊. Fabulous to meet such a welcoming and funny cafe owner who made us feel extremely welcome. Ordered cheese and ham toasties,
Excellent place. Very friendly host, very informative re local history. We had the best cream teas in Cornwall, the scones were superb. Thank you for making us so wellcome.
Delicious ice cream! Highly recommend the salted caramel! Really friendly owner who was really happy to serve us even though he was closing up. Make sure to ask above the letters sign hanging up. Would definitely come back
Definitely the best place in minions to eat. Warm welcome to all. Their toilet has interesting & funny posters which will bring a smile to your face whilst doing what you need to in there!!! Lol their cream teas are to die for.
Gorgeous cream tea, lovely little place hidden away on the moors! Great customer service and friendly staff
Great little cafe. We had their luxury hot chocolate which was absolutely delicious and very creamy. Excellent facilities too.
Very pleasant little tea room. Lovely owners. Bit pricey. 2 pasties 1 ham sandwich and 3 soft drinks £25.
