Such a fantastic find. My Husband did some research and read the glowing reviews so we thought we’d give it a go. I’m so glad we did. A delicious meal and very attentive service. Not over fussy, just a really comfortable relaxed welcoming pub. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. :)
Delicious! I have to say the food was absolutely delicious! Lovely choices on the menu, not the standard affair of most dining places in the area. The staff were great, welcoming, and friendly. The place has a lovely atmosphere, steeped in history and delightfully cosy. Highly recommend a trip to th
Definitely a lovely local pub. Amazing food and service - great atmosphere. We met with friends as we were in the area and we were not rushed or made to feel like we needed to move on despite the pub being busy. Really lovely.
The food was absolutely sublime! The difficulty was choosing what to have! Every thing was cooked to perfection presented really well and delicious. The pub is a beautiful setting and would recommend booking to avoid disappointment of tables being full. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about
Enjoyed a family (x7) Sunday lunch at Crows Nest. The Roasts were excellent. Mussels were fine. Pizza no complaints. Finished off with Eton Mess. Very attentive staff. Dog friendly - no complaints from Rocky.
Beautiful Cornish Pub, lovely friendly staff and beautiful food. Great menu Looking forward to visiting again with the family.
Met up with some friends for dinner, shame about the other comments, our food was fine particularly the chicken carbonara, reasonably priced. Beer was good value particularly the Hicks at £4.50 a pint, what wasn't was a shot of gin at £4.90 and even worse which I felt was taking the p*** a push butt
Great Sunday roast. I had a vegan nut roast and it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Super service, really friendly.
Great little pub, rustic, friendly and dog friendly. Menu is varied and don't forget to check the specials board. We found this on our way home, wish we'd found it earlier in the week, would have gone back.
Food took quite a while to arrive, about 45 mins, but it was worth the wait. Very big portions. Pie of the day was my choice, creamy chicken, and the specials were good choices as well. Not enough room for desserts.
A delightful little country pub genuinelyinteresting, the staff were wonderful very chatty. The food coming out the kitten looked superb and the menu very interesting we didn't have time to stop for food but will definitely be back to sample there fodder.
A lovely place to visit, sadly though we went for food, checked the website, which said they were serving it. Only to get there and. Find that they were not. So I suggest that you phone and ask, rather than believe the website. We had heard the food was delicious and the menu looks very appealing.
Lovely historic pub with great beer , the food is lovely with a good selection. It is dog friendly and has a very nice garden to enjoy a pint in a summer's day.
Under new management. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Update: visited again on a busy night and the food wasn't great. The pasta wasn't cooked through and there wasn't any sauce to speak of. The waitress was very apologetic and went to see if she could could get a reduction on the price but s
Lovely little pub, good atmosphere. Chef was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond. Stayed late to do us food, checked in on us personally. Absolutely lovely experience. Will definitely visit again.
Excellent food and perfect service!! Really helpful staff. Recently reopened and they are excelling. We stopped when passing and so glad we did. Even the kids commented on how good it was.😳 If you are looking for a fantastic, welcoming pub with good food and beer this is for you.
Fast becoming my local of choice. Well kept beer, excellent menu with veggie and vegan options. Fantastic onion rings! Engaging staff and oodles of atmosphere. Plenty of room outside to eat and drink. Large carpark and outside loos. What more could you want?
