After spending months in Asia and eating sushi practically every other day, I was getting serious sushi cravings when I got home and found it very difficult to get good sushi, especially in Lisburn! Last night I thought I'd give Kyoto Taste a try and I am so glad I did! The sushi was incredible! So fresh and tasty with a wide selection on the menu! The portion sizes were great and the food is made to order, no pre-prepared sushi. The ginger and wasabi comes in the box with the sushi, so if you don't like them make sure you put that on your order form. The only thing missing was chopsticks but maybe if I had of asked I could have got them.
I wish I could have ordered the whole menu to try! If you love sushi I would 100% recommend this place!
This is very very good sushi, at a fairly reasonable price. Sushi Bento box, sushi platter B, tuna nigiri and prawn summer rolls cost £26, provided a great selection, was filling, and every bite was fresh and tasty. Only one small negative, no chopsticks in the bag, though I should have checked! Order appeared to be made fresh to order as would be expected with good sushi, and for a Monday night there was plenty of deliveries going out too. Can't wait to try other dishes and good to see great sushi outside of Belfast.
Great selection of food, definitely a standout in lisburn takeaways. The different cuisines are fantastic and the menu does a decent job explaining.

Went in for a takeaway today and got a few boxes of sushi. I didn't realise how big their portions/sushi pieces were!! Amazing value for money compared to other sushi places I've been to. Tasted great too! My husband thoroughly enjoyed it!
Everything was great. Sad to see the big sushi boxes disappear. Sushi still available though.
Baffled to get sushi this good in Lisburn. Couldn't recommend enough. Service is fast, and staff are really friendly.
Have been ordered food since it’s opened and honestly speaking not sure why others saying their food are salty we never had anything salty ?
, I am glad to have this Kyoto Taste takeaway Authentic Asian takeaway in lisburn Not only called a name of Asian fusions, their well prepared beautiful Asian food dishes are really tasty and also head chef Leo ‘s team are always very polite and hopeful, highly recommended their , Singapore curry dishes Japanese bento dishes , work fried Phad thai rice noodle dishes, Vietnamese flat rice noodle dishes also salty chili Dishes , great job @ lisburn kyoto taste chef Leo team and our family will continue to order again and we believe by our truly experiences .

Absolutely delicious and great value. Very generous portion sizes, more food than we could finish. The guy who took my order was great at explaining what a few things were to me and the girl who served me at collection was very friendly. Couldn't recommend any higher.

We ordered from here a few weeks ago and I forgot to rate.
10/10 for food quality,
9/10 for portion sizes as they were actually a little large, which is just a preference of mine I suppose so do remember this is just my opinion.
10/10 menu size and variety
We had a few Chinese/Uk standards like crispy honey chilli chicken as well as some sushi and some nigiri and sashimi. All were good. Sushi wasn’t the best I’ve had but definitely was clean and well prepared and tasty. Perhaps a little big for my taste.
There are a few issues with the ordering and we had to wait a LONG time on food that arrived TWICE. The delivery was well over an hour late. We then received the food and after the food had been eaten, the same order arrived again.
I felt really bad for the guys. This could have been avoided by them giving us the call back that they said they would given us when they took our phone number and would check on our order. I was super close to asking to pay for some of it but caught myself on.

ALSO THIS WAS PEAK TIME ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. So I’m not heartbroken or super disappointed, but being so late was frustrating.
Food was delicious, only complaint is that when you’re using the website you can’t order food from the Japanese menu and the fusion menu. I wanted sushi but my partner wanted a curry chip, so we had to settle on only ordering from the fusion menu.
Also, when ordering the ‘chip with sauce’ there is no sauce option, you have to write what you want in the notes/ instructions for the restaurant
Had Korean spicy garlic fried rice (Dry), plenty of perfectly cooked rice, good sized pieces of chicken, garlic not overpowering and a nice kick to the seasoning.
Fast service, no more than a few minutes from ordering till it was ready.
Definitely be eating from Kyoto again.
