Food is excellent here. Staff are helpful but could be more friendly. The only negative was how long the food took to come. Starter was quick but main course and dessert took a long time. Good place with good staff and decent food. The ribs were tasty and tender, and the fish of the day was also good. Worth a stop if in the area.
Service was great, food for good and on a deal 2 courses for £22 with a drink. Some of the cocktails are premixed, which is a shame but still tasty. Will definitely be back
Lovely food here, pints are very good too. Both reasonably well priced. Staff were very friendly and courteous, and looked after their customers exceptionally well.
The Cardan yet again served us a fabulous meal, I'm addicted to the mushroom toast starter, yes I know it doesn't sound like much. BUT YOU NEED TO TRY IT !! First time having the lamb rump with a side of shepherd's pie, the flavour was amazing !

We had my dads 70th birthday party upstairs in the cardan, it was a fantastic night. The buffet food was lovely and the staff were great, couldn’t have been more helpful. Got off the train and walked passed it and looked at the menu & then looked again before I got on train Nd and decided to go in! Glad I did! Nicest scampi I've ever had. Would 100% recommend and be back
A bit quiet inside so we had perfect service. Best food I have had in ages that tasted spot on and all at a reasonable price. I highly recommend a visit, seating both inside and outside with a great range of drinks served yo your table.

Visited the newly refurbish Cardan on Monday night. The updated menu has some great additions and our food / drink was very well priced. We have the mussels and spring rolls to start, with the lamb and pork belly for our main courses. All were beautiful.
Only had a pint in here after an issue with the train to Portadown asked for a taxi number and the bar man booked a taxi and told us when it arrived good pint good service friendly staff nice bar .👍
