Just a quiet catch up with a friend but we managed to get a table at short notice, the staff were lovely and the food amazing and fantastic value. Had a lovely evening and would thoroughly recommend this place
I love visiting the crown in Linton , I live in the USA , but have family that live there, (British)it's a lovely old pub/restaurant with really nice food particularly like the roast dinners on Sunday , the staff there are always very friendly, it's always a must go to visit while in the country!!

Definitely recommend. I use as a meeting spot halfway between Essex and Hertfordshire ..friend meet up. EXCELLENT friendly kind staff, EXCELLENT food and lovely warm fire ...just perfect ....

Lovely place for Sunday Roast or a birthday, i had the Chicken Kebab which was stunningly presented very tasty coleslaw and sweet potato fries. My husband had a fab tasty Burger, friendly staff nothing too much trouble lovely reasonable priced desserts

Range of beers but nothing that jumped out to me as a must try. Opted for Guiness which was excellent.

Regarding the latest review, I would like take this opportunity to remind people that they may need to be more inclusive in their thoughts prior to making comments. The one armed chair allows me accessibility from my wheelchair to sit in a normal environment and enjoy a few beers with my local friends. The landlord and his staff has been 100% in helping me through these difficult times/situation.
A corner table in the conservatory section, and a full Sunday lunch roast - vegetables were served family style so each person could serve themselves - a great idea! Cheerful, attentive wait staff, and the sun came out! Most enjoyable.

Food is lovely and they've got all sorts of deals on throughout the week. Stopped off for steak one night and back again for bangers and mash. Recommend for lovely pub grub!!
Just moved to Linton and popped in for some dinner with a friend. I was so pleased to find, not only gluten free beer, but also gluten free fish and chips and gluten free pudding!!
Wonderful friendly service from Amy and a thoroughly enjoyable meal (I even squeezed in a chocolate brownie!), and much less than I expected to pay for a gluten free dinner for two.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere and will definitely be returning for some of the gluten free sticky toffee pudding 🤤 somewhere I would happily visit alone, knowing a warm welcome awaits.

Booked a family gathering of 18 for a birthday celebration. Staff very helpful and happy to accomodate all our requests. On the day, everything laid out in preparation, friendly staff took pre meal drinks orders and we got the impression that they aimed to please. Courses delivered efficiently and food good. The family all enjoyed the occasion so well done and thanks to the staff at the Crown Inn Linton.
Had a nice meal with local beers. Lovely old pub with modern extention. Good size restaurant (best to book) or site in cozey bar. Staff friendly good service. There is parking and rooms.
So eat, drink, sleep and no need to drive home.
22nd Feb we again visited to have dinner. some months later.
I would cheerfully pay London prices for the food served to us.
The liver and beetroot, mash and gravy were properly cooked and generous.
The chicken dish, highly spiced, as advertised and deliciously hot, as it should be, was excellent.
Liver parfait was generous and tasty..
Pork was cooked properly (hooray!) and again generously accompanied by good veg and whizzo chips.
This establishment deserves all the praise and full marks to the chefs who turn out first class food.

Lovely village pub serving delicious food. Roaring fire in the winter and a sunny garden in the summer. Plenty of choices of craft beers, wines and spirits too. Great family pub and a large restaurant space or the cosy bar area, and friendly service too. Owned by the same family for many years ☺️🍻🍷🍹🥂
