A corner table in the conservatory section, and a full Sunday lunch roast - vegetables were served family style so each person could serve themselves - a great idea! Cheerful, attentive wait staff, and the sun came out! Most enjoyable.

The liver and beetroot, mash and gravy were properly cooked and generous.
The chicken dish, highly spiced, as advertised and deliciously hot, as it should be, was excellent.

Lovely village pub serving delicious food. Roaring fire in the winter and a sunny garden in the summer. Plenty of choices of craft beers, wines and spirits too. Great family pub and a large restaurant space or the cosy bar area, and friendly service too. Owned by the same family for many years ☺️🍻🍷🍹
