Travelled a fair bit to dine here and we’re so glad we did! Knew it was gonna be a great experience as soon as we saw the building, so pretty and quirky, the interior has had a lot of love and effort put into it and it definitely shows, class wee touch that the owner does all the art himself. The staff was so lovely and welcoming, big up the manager Margaret(legend). Ordered the steak and lobster and they were both cooked/grilled to perfection wow, will 100% be back!

Had a really lovely late lunch here. Came out because it was a beautiful day. Food was great and arrived quickly. Staff friendly and a quirky unique atmosphere. Asked about the artwork in the place and the owner paints them. Was fair impressed. Would recommend again. We went on a Wednesday afternoon but apparently the weekends are busy. Dog friendly too.

Friendly quick services and lovely food (choose from the main menu, or chefs special, i went with the special). The actual location next to the sea, a stones throw away, was ideal and the inside of the building was very interesting, full of paintings (including on the ceiling), curios and sea related decor. Happy to recommend and would visit again.

We came here after visiting a local castle for lunch and the staff were very friendly and were able to get us seated even without a reservation. Would recommend booking if you plan on going! Great selection of drinks and a very reasonable prices menu especially since there is no other place in the area for food. We had the steak and lobster, fish & chips and a kids chicken nuggets. The food was delicious and went down well with everyone. Probably the best part of this restaurant is the fact it is very quirky with lots of boat related decorations. There is also a little shop attached which sells everyday essentials. If you are in the area, you need to visit to fully enjoy this place.

A quirky, inviting restaurant with great seafood at generally fair prices. This place is very well-located in Blackness, close to the water and a short walk from the castle. There is parking, disabled access and an attractive beer garden. Service is reasonably good although if you choose to sit outside you have to go and order at the bar. The seafood itself including fish and lobster is excellent. The burger served alongside the lobster wasn’t great - it was dry and very plain, however everything else we tried was fresh and high quality.

Just back from myself and partner having a meal at the lobster pot, this place is a hidden gem that I didn't know it existed but the place was recommended to us by a friend. Staff were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome even though we turned up half an hour late due to us thinking the table was booked later than it was, food was fresh, good portions and very tasty. Inside is quirky, very relaxed place to be and didn't feel rushed. Would recommend and will definatly be returning.

Cracking little quirky restaurant. Went in after a last minute reservation, staff were very accomodating and very friendly. The restaurant itself is filled with quirky nautical and local memorabilia. The food was fresh, well prepared and served beautifully, we splashed out on the steak and lobster and it was worth every penny. We felt it was very good value and will definitely return and recommend to others.
