Quickly served, lovely food. Probably the right amount of food to serve but, supoose its more for the tourists as its down from the Palace. Quite pricey too probably due to that fact.

Chicken supper was amazing, still piping hot when I got home. Paid online, was made to order when I got to the store which is fine by me, meant it was fresh, best chippy in the area!
After seeing a few negative reviews and having been here lots of times in the past I thought I'd share my experience of TGC. Nice staff, doing a great job in these times and circumstances and the fish and chips were outstanding. Really is a great chippy 👍

Hadn't been here for donkey's years till today and it's still as good as it was 25 years ago. Lovely crispy batter, golden chips like it says on the tin, really tasty!!
I can only imagine the people who gave one star reviews were born without taste buds or don't appreciate good food and expect the world for not much money. The service was excellent, staff knowledgeable and friendly. The food was piping hot and well cooked, crispy not oily and full of flavour. Portion sizes are fair, the fish to batter ratio was perfect, and 5 adults were well fed for not a lot more than £30. Keep up the good work everyone!
Best chippie in Linlithgow by far. Fresh fish served in crispy batter is the main draw, but other fried dishes, pizzas and even lasagna are also on offer. Nice friendly service too.
