Four Mary's is a quaint little pub in the main street of Linlithgow. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a fireplace in the eating area. The food is sensational and could only be topped by the friendly staff. They were getting busy when we were there and yet the staff still had time for a chat.

Last minute booking for dinner and they were able to accommodate us. We had a lovely meal of fish and chips and sirloin steak and chips. Both of us were full, both of us with empty plates. Service was quick and efficient, food was piping hot and delicious. Would highly recommend The Four Mary's for evening meal out.

We visited the Four Mary's in 1999 and we enjoyed the nostalgia and same wonderful experience this September. When you go be sure to read the menu and learn about the rich history of this wonderful bar and pub. The fish and chips were amazing!

This pub has a lot of history, very nice staff we have dined here many times over the years. Excellent food reasonably priced. Nearby you can walk around the loch which has spectacular views of Linlithgow Palace birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. Birdwatching area with various species of birds. Great day out for families.

Great place to eat, very good service from the staff, I had macaroni cheese with side salad and garlic bread it was very good, and I had a nice cold ginger beer to go with it.

A great pub in the heart of Linlithgow! Lovely folks working there and friendly people in the pub itself! Perfect for any beer lover - of course they have plenty of whisky and other libations. I didn’t stay for a bite to eat, but heard it’s excellent. Definitely worth a visit or two 💛

Our tour guide recommended us this restaurant and can’t thank him enough! We were so satisfied with the service, food and the really cozy atmosphere. Our server gave us the spot near the fireplace and it was just perfect! By the way, the Ginger beer we had was probably one of the best I have tried!! Highly recommend!

A delightful warm welcome. An excellent selection of real ales to keep hubby happy, and the food was delicious. Cullen skink was outstanding, as were the haggis fritters. Cheerful and helpful staff and good service. We will return.

Been here a few times and it never fails to impress. Lovely surroundings, service with a smile and a joke, great ambience. I always opt for the burger and the missus goes for the fish- always top drawer. See you soon!

On a bright and sunny, but freezing March day we found ourselves stopping for a quick drink in the Four Mary's. We enjoyed it so much, we ended up staying for 4 hours! Lovely little bar with friendly staff and an eclectic clientele! We didn't have food but the passing plates looked great, especially the fish and chips! The whisky selection was one of the best for a normal, everyday pub. Great selection of standard whisky but also some unusual including a few Japanese, Welsh, and American. The prices were very reasonable with the most expensive whisky, a Bowmore 25 coming in at a very competitive £13! And if you know whisky prices, is a real steal. We will be back!
