My husband and I had dinner at Champany Inn last September (2022) and fell in love with the food and the people. That night, we decided that on our next trip to visit Scotland, we would stay and eat at Champany Inn. Fast forward to September this year (2023), we stayed at Champany Inn for 2 nights
Step back into a time of perfect, personal customer service. Our stay in celebration of my birthday was a lovely experience. Dinner is a must!!! Champany Rose wine is an excellent addition to a delicious meal.
Very traditional hotel, excellent service. We stayed overnight and the rooms although fairly dated were perfect in every way relative to the cost. Towels fantastic and plenty amenities.
By far, the best food I've had in a long time. I thoroughly recommend it, if you're looking for a quiet cosy getaway. The staff were fantastic, accommodation is super comfortable and cosy. I've coming here. For 30 odd years, I love it, Mrs D, Erik and the rest 8f the staff are like family. The food is amazing, I have had steak all over the world, and still call Champany as the best steak I have ebmvet had in my 61 years. Thank you Mrs D.
Absolutely fabulous experience. We celebrated my mom-in-law's birthday here and it was simply perfect. The place is beautiful, ambience is great, food was delicious. There's no restaurant better. They might be as good but definitely not better. Rib eye on the bone is to die for. Follow that with their sticky toffee pudding, a perfect way to finish off such a good meal.
Fantastic meal! Tasty, properly cooked steak. Veg was also cooked properly, not boiled to destruction. Good service and they were fantastic with the wee one. I'll be back!
This is a fantastic place to have a steak. Ordered the T-bone medium rare and absolutely enjoyed it. The restaurant and bar area has a lovely cosy atmosphere with staff that are both efficient and friendly.

I've been here maybe 4 or 5 times, and ate in the restaurant, and every time it blows me away. Its like being transported to 1527, and being in Henry VIII's dining room. The attention to detail in every aspect of this restaurant is 2nd to none, they have an idea, and hit it dead on.

Superb meal served in brilliant room.Service excellent and portions more than ample.Lamb chops and Chicken breast in rich sauce cooked to perfection.Cheesecake to die for.Would recommend a visit.
Didn’t eat here as restaurant was shut but the staff could not have been more pleasant or obliging. Hope to come back and try the food. Rooms are excellent.
Best steak I’ve ever had, the cheesecake is sublime. In fact it’s the best meal I’ve ever had.

Google has just reminded me to review this marvellous restaurant, I have been many times and it is consistently very good, the food and excellent wine list are top class.
