A great local team, serving freshly cooked fish (love the middle-cod!). Highly recommended.
The food is lovely & expertly cooked. Haddock is enormous and I always share with the other half!
Worth driving past other chippies to get to Lingwood shop. Something different in a good way about these chips. Do go you won't be disappointed.

Battered cod was excellent. Chips a bit flabby- possibly because its towards the end of the potato storing season.
Always good service and tasty food. Can ring up and preorder to collect. Sadly they've stopped doing their tasty pizzas as not enough orders for them.
Has become our regular fish n chips place. Prices are really fair and the quality is great. Fish has always tasted fresh and not to greasy. Chips are always good well and not overly done or under cooked.

Good prices and a variety of food available. The pizza is pretty good! The staff are always friendly and you never have to wait long. 4 stars because I have been when things aren't available occasionally.
Great service for a recent Quiz & Chips I organised at Lingwood Village Hall. The food was fresh and well presented and kept warm for over 120 people. I've always received friendly service here as well as excellent fish and chips. Highly recommended.
Really friendly service and reasonably priced. Chips were crisp and fluffy and batter of fish was tasty too. Fish was a little dry which could have been due to sitting out of the Frier for a little while. Battered sausage was meaty unlike other pasty sausages which was great.
Definitely not styled like any chippy I've ever been to but the place is clean and the food is great. Unfortunately my wait has been rather long on both occasions of visiting but they really pull that around when you taste it. Food is made to the order so none of it has been sitting around. Nice fri
Pre pandemic my family would come and visit just for this chip shop. They have always given large portions for the price and the chips are amazing. Without doubt my favourite chip shop I've ever known.
Staff are fast efficent and serve with a smile and the place is spotless. Since the pandemic they
great pizza and the chicken burgers are from proper chicken breast - not processed rubbish.
Friday night - best to phone in your order as the q can be quite long.
