Hands down one of the best dining experiences I can think of!!!
Honestly loved every moment, the staff were warm, friendly and welcoming.
We tried some of the cocktails on the menu and some fruity sake for the first time and loved everything that the staff recommended.
The food was divine, everything we had was absolutely delicious, we couldn’t get enough and would have happily eaten each dish again & again.
The service was outstanding.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for good food and/or cocktails!

For the food we had & the drinks, both in size and quality, all of the prices were reasonable.
We will definitely go back if we’re in the area.
We have dined here twice now, the food and drinks are absolutely fantastic. Absolutely love it here! We have moved here after living up north and we was always complaining about how basic the restaurants are in Lincoln but this place is absolutely wonderful 😊 the calamari is the best I've ever had. I asked the waiter on Sunday for a creamy chocolate cocktail and as there wasn't one on the menu, he made one from scratch and it was beautiful! We can't wait to return. 5 stars !!

The cocktails and shots are amazing, we had some sushi whilst sat at the bar. The place was full with private parties that's how popular it is.
The staff are very friendly and attentive. If in town defo worth a visit, highly recommend.
Also worth a visit just to go and see the hand crafted bar made from amethyst under lit with led's
What an amazing place, The decor downstairs is lovely, contemporary and comfortable. Upstairs with the open air roof terrace is unreal. The menu is fantastic, there is a great selection of different foods not just Sushi.
The team there are very attentive and friendly and are a credit to the establishment.
Cognito - Discovered this absolute dynamite place via Google and it did not disappoint. Hidden off the main Lincoln high street you’ll find some of the best Japanese food and sushi Lincoln has to offer. Takoyaki that was delicate with plenty of octopus, very moreish spider crab futomaki. Yellow fin tuna nigiri(hamachi) that was incredible quality as well as smoked tuna nigiri with such a unique smoky flavour. Dragon roll looked lovely and got food envy as it passed me.
Every dish was first class, lovely warm service and polished off with some of the nicest cocktails I’ve had in a long time on their sunny roof terrace. And Shazam worthy chilled house vibes to top it off. Don’t think, just go, you won’t be disappointed and support an independent that puts fresh food and high quality first at fair prices. Service was great, they all had something to recommend which is always helpful and they were all very attentive.

While on the pricier side for Lincoln, this Japanese restaurant is definitely worth a visit, as both the food and the cocktails were delicious. The ambience was nice as well and I appreciated the fact that, although we were a large group, the waiting time was more than reasonable.
Food was fantastic, my favourites was tempera prawn dragon roll and red mullet sushi. Service was friendly and we really enjoyed our time here. It was a quiet weekday evening but the atmosphere was still lovely and perfect for date night.

We went for a family meal for the Halloween special, the food was outstanding would highly recommend the sushi and small plates. The restaurant is beautiful and we were all really impressed with the service. We will be back!!

Excellent service no doubt. When it comes to taste a of Japan which they advertise, there's further to go. I understand the bend to western pallates yet a more daring approach might differentiate them from the kiosks in the area. Having said that, presentation really shows care involved in creation which genuinely adds to the experience.
Came for a nice meal for an anniversary last week and had the best experience and food. We had the privilege of having Jada as our server who explained the food and drink options and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience and she couldn’t have been better with her recommendations. Will definitely be returning to this place again!

Popped in here for a spot of early dinner, sadly the rooftop bar was not open yet. But the offer of dimsum and champagne was too good to turn down. Food was excellent with super service. We enjoyed our dinner here. We will do this again.
Lincoln needs this! The food I'd exceptional!! Very tasty and well prepared and you can choose among many options, I loved the service here the manager was very friendly and took the time to have a chat with us. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you love sushi.
A little expensive for what it is, food ok & delivered randomly as cooked (so best to order in waves). Sake very expensive. Restaurant not very busy so no problems with our time slot, service a little haphazard (I also prefer to be in charge of my wine rather than be beholden to serving staff to top up my glass). Would we go again, probably not (a lot of my favourite Japanese dishes missing from the menu).
The dragon roll was simply AMAZING. And they do a really great prawn tempura. We ordered the holy fox for drinks and they were just awesome too...all in all the food was excellent and we had a wholesome foodie lovely evening ❤
