We chose Morrisons cafe for our Sunday breakfast this week and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent, both vegetarian and meat choices, and the smiling lady who brought it to our table was lovely and very helpful. The table is a good height for wheelchairs.
One of the photos makes it look like it was empty, it was actually quite busy but not over crowded.
The only thing I didn’t like was a high pitched alarm sound, emanating from the kitchen and frequent enough to become annoying. If you’re triggered by sounds you might be wary. They could probably mask it with a bit of music or take your headphones.
I liked that we were able to order and pay via a screen as we entered rather than queue and do it at the till.
The supermarket disabled toilet is nearby and easily accessible. It was clean and tidy and the cord was dangling just where it should be.
Excellent food at a reasonable price. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Pretty much the same as most other supermarket cafes. They did have a decent meal deal...
Lovely service. Very clean.
Great price for cream tea.
New decor is nice, food was gorgeous and children's menu was good. Staff were lovely but overworked as the seems somewhat understaffed. The staff still managed to serve up good warm food with only a modest wait and were lovely to my kids.
The British Space Empire
+4
Used to be the best part of Morrisons but now seems to be the worst since they decided to strip away all of the reasons that people ate here in the first place. Food has lowered in quality, service is worse, always a shortage of staff, Food is an ok price and drinks are overpriced.
EDIT: If you take into account the market street stalls then this is an easy 4 stars as they make some amazing food, it’s a tad expensive but tbh the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of food you get from them, the cafe itself though is still not great.
Went for tea with my hubby and our young grandson.
Food was really nice and well worth what you paid for. "a bargain"
Just a pity about the service though 😯
I struggled with the electronic menu ordering machine, so ordered at till anyway and staff was brilliant about it.
Dinner was lovely, we all really enjoyed our selections.
However, we ended up waiting at least 45 minutes for desert after our dinner plates where taken away. I ended up going back to the till to remind them after twice reminding them at the table 🤐
Very good standard of breaky and good price. One thing that just doesn’t make sense you can’t get your own tea and hot water anymore and was waiting for a drink for 15+ minutes.
Popped in for lunch. The area was clean and staff were ensuring that the tables were cleared. Counter staff were helpful and friendly. I had a toasted tea cake, which was fresh but a bit on the small side. My partner had a sausage bap which was very tasty.

I like it and return frequently with my children. The only slightly puzzling question is why there isn't an allergens folder out. But that is really a minor quibble. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are good. Coffee is good. Food is good.
Much improved. Hadn't been in quite a while as it was quite bad, but someone must have realised the issues and decided to sort it out. Well cooked, good portions now, and the staff there were on the ball with everything even though it was a a relatively quiet Saturday after 3pm.
It has 2 self-serv kiosks and good staff from my visit today, plenty of seats, can be super busy at certain hours of course so take advantage of the off-peak hours. They have a lot of different pre-made options on the stall next to where you queue, giving a lot of variety and I enjoyed a nice English breakfast from them this time, tasted fresh✌️.
